Loved the stay and staff was great but the cleanliness of the room was lacking. I don’t believe the sheets were changed out before we had arrived, we kept finding blond hairs all over the bathroom and in the bed and neither of us are blond so we knew it was not us. And the cups on the minibar had obviously been used and not changed out either as they were stained with coffee. It was only for one night so we endured. We did let management know of our concerns on the way out hopefully this improves.

Nice views and spacious, but a bit tired, both rooms and common areas could use tlc. We booked a room with a sauna. Bathroom was good size and sauna almost fits 2 people at a time, very cozy sized. Did not use common amenities since had sauna in the room. Location was ok, walkable to restaurants.

Luxurious 5 star feel
lovely clean spacious room with an amazing jacuzzi bath tub. made use of the spa facilites and then headed back up for a luxurious bubble bath for 2. heavenly!! Bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast was great as they cook your eggs fresh - anyway you like them!! Pancakes are also heated up fresh! would definely stay here again

As a solo female traveler, the Mainport has set a new personal standard for hotel accommodation and self-care. I loved everything about my experience in Rotterdam and the Mainport was certainly a highlight.

Great stay
Very nice one night stay in this lovely hotel. Checked in early morning after cruise and front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in keeping luggage for us until room was ready at check-in time. We had the breakfast buffet which was very plentiful and varied and included a chef who made eggs cooked to order and pancakes or French toast too. Very good. Location was perfect for exploring all the sights in Rotterdam. Room was very clean and spacious on floor 7 facing the water. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

Disappointing stay.
I have stayed at this hotel several times before and have had a good experience. However on this occasion I was quite disappointed. The pool was closed during the whole of our stay and the service in the restaurant was unbelievably slow. There was also a terrible smell of sewage/drains in the reception that I could also smell every now and again in my room. I’m visiting in a couple of weeks - hoping that this was just a one-off.

A little style over substance, the hotel is nice, however spoilt by very poor customer service. We paid for a sauna room..bathroom door broken which we could live with, however when we wanted to use the sauna..it was broken..staff really didn’t care, basically did it was our fault not using the facilities earlier in our stay..no apologies no empathy no offer of reduction..won’t be using again not because of hotel but because of its staff

Comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely clean room with everything we needed , iron, hairdryer fridge and tea making facilities. Our room had a sauna and hot tub which was just perfect after a long day sightseeing. Very quiet rooms so got a great sleep . Staff were super friendly and helpful especially Mr Riaz the lovely porter. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, the omelette station was perfect.

This hotel is walking distance to the cruise port. The trams stop outside the hotel, providing easy transportation to Rotterdam Centraal Station and other sites, like the Euromast. The staff on Reception speak English and are very helpful. The hotel serves a good buffet breakfast.

Please never trust Expedia. I’ve gone to them for years and decided they have finally let me down again. I need a disabled room. On the information side I always look for disabled room, which means being able to get into all the rooms, being able to brush my teeth at the sink, have a shower, being able to get onto a bed. I did get a email to say they did not have a wetroom but it was a walk-in shower. So I messaged back that should be fine can you make sure I have a shower chair. Got to the room and it was huge. Gorgeous bathtub in the room. Which you can hear at 1am when the room above you has it on. The bed was high making it difficult. I couldn’t brush my teeth the normal way I had to brush them and spit into a cup. But there was a step to the bathroom area. Then it was near impossible to get into the toilet. I had to ask for a chair 3x. The shower had a small glass screen so I could not get in. I had to get as close as possible and push the chair close to me. Hold the small shower while husband passed me everything. On Mainpoints website it says in the accessible page they do not have disabled facilities or rooms. That falls on Expedia. I should have checked as Expedia are awful at getting facts straight. We was there 4 days, 3 nights for me to find another hotel was going to be annoying so I struggled but we managed. We stayed here 6 years ago. Either it didn’t seem that bad or we tolerated and I forgot. It’s was 1900 pounds.

Had a really nice say here last week. Couldn't fault any of it. The hotel is really well located for transport links and is surrounded by lovely places to eat and drink. The bar and restaurant in the hotel was also good. We had a nice meal during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

3 night trip in May. Hotel is well located, right next to a metro stop and only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Rotterdam. Surrounding area is quiet but beautiful as it’s right on the water and the views of the busy docks are boss. Service was superb and our room ( waterfront view with a sauna) was excellent. Downstairs bar was well stocked and staffed. Fully recommend

This is a nice hotel. Room was big, huge tub in the bathroom, shower was very clean and nice. Great sheets. Great service. Good location with metro right in front and close to lots of areas with food and drink.
