CVE work trip
It was okay generally, but the bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’d ever had and there seemed to be a general aroma of cigarette smoke in many areas, including my room when I first entered, despite the window being open. I am a non smoker and as such I probably noticed it more than many others. The staff were friendly and the food options were good for me but not so good for the two vegetarians in our work group. They both said it was a little limited for a longer stay. Overall it suited our needs due to the location, but it could easily be improved.

Was expecting worse service but they have everything what is needed for one night stay during a business trip. Sufficient place in room, hot water, restaurant for having a dinner... I did not try breakfast so nothing to say about this part of service.

Nice Hotel, clean. Only negative aspects are the size of the bathroom, very small with a see through door, and a Wi-fi really unstable and slow. Overall a pleasant stay for a night.

Hotel is pleasant enough, even english channel's on the room tv ! Dinner on the 1st night was terrible , food (gyros) awful and dry, had to ask for cutlery, and vinegar (5 times and still didnt get it !!! 2nd dinner much better and a nice burger

Bastion in Brielle
Very comfortable and well situated in Brielle. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay again if necessary.

Very noisy restaurant. Intimidating atmosphere wearing a suit in a predominantly blue collar hotel. Toilet/bathroom area was tiny. No double beds in hotel. Made up for by very polite and friendly restaurant staff. Wouldn't stay again due to the aggressive nature of other guests.

Probably the most consistent, relaiable hotel for
Good clean rooms. Some occasionally have a noisy fridge in them but you can always turn these off. I have stayed here a few times and they are very consistent. Friendly people and a good location just a short walk from town. Breakfast is OK also.

Ideal hotel for us.
This hotel was ideal for us and this was our second stay at the Bastion.Others might find the bathroom in Room 124 a bit of a squeeze. The food we had was ok. The cues for the pool table need tips on all bar two cues. The duvets were very heavy and too warm for the time of year.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms always very clean and food is nice. Plenty of local amenities and hotel located close to Europoort.

Not really nice
Stayed in the room next to the corridor door and seriously disturbed by the door slam sound. Shower area is quite small. Bad design of the sink that you can't wash your face without wetting the floor. By the way, the staff is nice and restaurant is good for dinner.

'Quick Port Trip'
First visit since the major refurbishment, the improvements are good, the hotel has almost doubled in size. Some areas in the hotel are kept too hot and parking isn't always easy. Restaurant stays open late which is very handy.
