"This was a surprise delight. My family stayed here on our journey between Basel and Munich and found the area lovely, with loads of scenic walks. The hotel is clean and the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the village. The bed was on the firm side, but the room’s temperature was not too hot. My sons enjoyed the swimming pool, which was perfect size for their splashing around. The afternoon cakes were lovely and the breakfast was good. We didn’t eat our evening meal at the...

"The rooms are a bit run down with bathroom facilities and lighting that are still in the 70s. The hotel says has a wellness center with pool, but this is an overstatement. The pool is maybe 10 mt long, the sauna is ok, the changing room is something between a storage room and a doctor's. the restaurant is ok, but nothing special with the waiting staff that could be more friendly "

"The hotel is close to old city Nurtingen. Cafes, restaurants, beer gardens are within 10 minutes of walking distance. A peaceful evening by the river could be had. The hotel is 20 minutes from Stuttgart airport and is another 15 minutes to some old castles."
