A big quirky gem of a flat.
This flat was in a good location with fab views. Everything we needed was there and more. The log burners were so cosy after a day touring the island. Wifi, tv, beds all perfect. Communication with host good and access to the flat straightforward. I would 100% reccomend this lovely spacious flat and will hopefully return.

Short break to visit family
Property is in a great location to get about Rothesay. It was kept very well and very well stocked for our short stay. As a family with a dog we would happily use this property again when visiting family on the island. Owner was very good at keeping us updated on the lead up and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely sea view flat
We had an great stay! The flat was clean, cosy and convenient. IT was well equipped. We really enjoyed the wood burning stoves and were provided with loads of firewood. Gordon was very welcoming and easy to contact. Would definitely book again.

Fantastic appartment on beautiful island
This apartment was perfect in every way for it recent stay. It was the best equipped place I've stayed in, so much was thought of and available. The island itself was stunning and we had a great few days relaxing on beaches and in the apartment. The host was fantastic, very responsive to messages sent. Would 110% recommend staying here, we hope to be back!

The location and facilities at the property were amazing. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Relaxing break in Rothesay
Lovely apartment with beautiful sea views and handy for all of Rothesay's amenities. The apartment is spacious with lots of period features and is well equipped. Communication with Gordon the owner was excellent. Highly recommended!

Superb Apartment in the heart of Rothesay
The property is as advertised, spacious and welcoming a real home from home. Colin the owner was excellent in keeping us informed before and during our stay. Loved the location and the spacious layout of the apartment. This will be a first pick anytime we visit Rothesay.

Short family break
The property was great and had everything you would need. I liked that there was a common sense approach to cleaning items so we didn’t have to buy any washing up liquid , toilet rolls , bin bags etc - everything was there … the beds were comfy, plenty of hot water. The kitchen was modern. Photos were very accurate. It had a great view over the bay and easy walking into the centre. We met family on the island and we were able to have all round for a simple dinner and chat - our family stayed in a local hotel and said it was terrible - we were really lucky with our accommodation. if we came again we would definitely go back to this accommodation. great for our dog too. The owner responded very quick to messages and was on call if we needed anything..

Beautiful Bute

Lovely flat in prime location
Flat was great and in a superb location within walking distance to Rothesay town. Took a trek to the lighthouse and attended a family party while in Bute. This is our second stay in this flat. Gordon is a great host and communicates well. Will be back.

Home from home
We had a fabulous stay over the weekend. The host (Gordon) communicated well during the whole process. Accommodation is in a great location with lots of local amenities. Flat is well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Was like a home from home. Great flat, great host. Would definitely stay there again

This was our second visit to this property which I think says it all
Great big spacious flat, wonderful views of Rothesay bay, perfect location for Rothesay town as most things within walking distance, great big garden should you take the dogs which we did, clean & tidy with plenty or towels. We again enjoyed our stay & will no doubt be back again in the future. Thank-you :o)

Lovely flat!
we enjoyed a lovely break for 2 nights. The flat was spotlessly clean, and all our home comforts were there. Stunning views, which we enjoyed cosied up with the log burner on. would highly recommend and hope to be back.

Great location in Rothesay
This is a good property in a great location.overlooking the water. Enjoyed sitting in the lounge watching the world go by. I gave the cleanliness a minus star as my husband has cancer and we need to be so careful about his immune system. The wooden floors had some dust and we had to clean the fridge before use. Otherwise fantastic

Relaxing Rothesay
This is a most welcoming flat of character which my wife and I have stayed in several times, and always look forward eagerly to our next visit. Rothesay has appealing unspoilt character, and Gordon's is a superlative, spacious flat close to and overlooking the bay, inspiration for one of Scotland's greatest songs. The flat is exceptionally well equipped, down to the smallest detail. Two wood-burners make a chilly day pleasurable, and the beds are blissfully comfortable after exploring the rest of Bute. Christmas 2022
Stayed in Gordon’s fab flat for 3 days over Christmas. Very spacious and wonderfully decorated. We had a lovely time with my wife’s family over the festive period and stayed at Gordon’s flat for the first time. We will be back and can highly recommend this to anyone wanting to rent a lovely spacious flat in Rothesay ,Isle of Bute

Apartment was excellent,very tastefully decorated and furnished,it was also spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need plus many extras, including bikes and golf clubs. What a great apartment! The view is amazing and it's only a few minutes walk to the centre. It's very well equipped with everything you need and more and there is such alot of character about it. We felt instantly relaxed when we arrived and had lovely days exploring the beautiful island.

We were really comfortable and all Rothesay's shops and restaurants were a 5 minute walk away. The host kept us well informed but everything was easy anyway. Had a lovely relaxing time and must recommend.

Beautiful home.
The flat was beautiful and had everything we needed, so much to look at , very well decorated, would definitely stay again, only thing I would comment on is not cleaned properly, I went under the bed to retrieve the dogs ball , and found a pair of pants which were not clean, as in had been worn for a while I left them on the bed with a note and lots of fluff , lots of dust on ledges , I did really love the flat and would book again, hopefully it,s something you might look at .

Absolutely amazing flat overall
Easy to find, great communication from the host and the flat was spotless. I fell in love with the flat and could have spent a full day exploring it. Everything you need is at hand and the views are out of this world. The flat was spacious, comfortable and endearing. Both teenagers loved having their own room and of course Wi-Fi. I will definitely book again, we could not have asked for more.

Great location, fantastic property!
We have stayed here a few times and each time we had a great time. The property is perfect, 3 good size bedrooms, the lounge with views over Rothesay Bay, a modern kitchen and a recently modernised bathroom. It’s a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute.

Brilliant property with everything needed for a comfortable stay including bikes, golf clubs, telescop, binoculars, board games, a 3d TV and a bar with an honesty box. The flat is very large and up one flight of spiral stairs. Very close to all amenities with a bus stop right outside. Parking on street. Would highly recommend. Communication from the owner, Gordon, was excellent and informative. Booking was straightforward. A great place to stay for families or couples.

Quirky artifacts with lots to explore and everything had been thought of!
Excellent property, cannot recommend highly enough. Very well thought out with such attention to detail to make my stay perfect. Everything thought of from cycling, umbrellas, log fires, easy to use kitchen, lots to explore in the accommodation with a feel for travelling the world from Africa to China and a belter of a chess set. I will definitely be returning.
