10/10 Excellent

Bank Holiday stay

We had a lovely stay here and honestly couldn’t fault it. The location is excellent – really peaceful and perfect if you’re looking to relax. It’s right by the shore which was ideal for walks, and it’s only a short trip into Rothesay where you’ll find the main shops, cafés and everything you need. The views from the windows were absolutely stunning. Looking straight out to the sea, it was lovely watching the ferries and boats passing by. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived, the kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could need. All the essentials were there (even things like salt and pepper), and the hob and oven were very straightforward and easy to use. The beds were really cosy and comfortable, which meant we all slept really well. The décor was lovely too and made great use of the property’s original features, giving it lots of character while still feeling very welcoming. There was also a nice selection of books and games which we made good use of during our stay. Overall it was a fantastic stay and somewhere we’d happily return to.
