"Wir wollten die Stadt gerne zu Fuß erkunden und das Auto für die Versorgung stehen lassen. Für unseren Reisezweck war die Ferienwohnung also perfekt. Sie liegt sehr zentral in der Innenstadt. Bis zum Bahnhof läuft man gerade mal 10 Minuten, bis zur polnischen Seite nach Zgorzelec ca. 30 Minuten. "We stayed for a short five day holiday. Idea was to use the aprtment as base for visits to Prague, Wroclaw and Berlin as well as some local sights like Löbau, Kromlau Rhododendronpark and Oibyn Castle. Local area does not offer much but the apartment and surrounding is very nice and cosy. The host was friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean and well-equipped and very spacious. Super nice experience!"

"Der Tiny-Bungalow war wie angekündigt "tiny" aber völlig ausreichend für ein paar Tage, die Ausstattung war modern und hochwertig. Einzig die Umgebung ließ ein wenig zu wünschen übrig, wofür aber das sehr nette Vermieterpaar nichts kann: die ehemalige DDR-Feriendorfanlage ist teilweise zentral und teilweise privat vermietet, einige Gebäude ungenutzt und dementsprechend ungepflegt. Dies galt leider auch für den kleinen Badestrand, welcher wohl früher mal schön mit Sand aufgeschüttet gewesen sein...

"Wir waren in direkter Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter angereist. Ganz unkompliziert. Konnten schon eher anreisen, als angegeben. Die Fewo ist top. Sie läßt keine Wünsche offen. Alles da, Terrasse und Klimaanlage sind auch fertig.Bis zum Halbendorfer See zum Baden ist es nicht weit und mit dem Rad auch gut zu erreichen. Auf alle Fälle eine Empfehlung in jeder Hinsicht. "

"The apartment on the first floor was surprisingly large with a kitchen area, proper dining table, sofa and separate bedroom. Because the outlook was onto a street corner with the windows open there was a fair bit of traffic noise but quiet enough to sleep well. The bed was comfortable. While we could have self catered we chose to have the generous and varied breakfast which we felt was very good value. This was a friendly place to stay in a beautiful city and our only grumble was the lack of clear instructions for operating the too clever by half oven as we struggled to cook a pizza!! "
