Stunning home, beautiful location

House is absolute lovely, even better than the pictures. The hosts were so thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed before and during the trip. The house is very generously stocked with essentials and grocery items, it really does feel a home from home. The view from the garden and sauna is wonderful - we went in the sauna almost every day, it was so peaceful! And the location was perfect for us to enjoy the outdoors and local wine - beautiful area, perfect for cycles, hikes and visiting wineries and castles. Great holiday.

A home away from home! Ein wunderschönes, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes und voll ausgestattetes Winzerhäuschen. Mit Sauna und Pool ist Entspannung bei jedem Wetter angesagt, die Küche und auch die Outdoor-Küche sind bis hin zum Eierbecher und Maispiekser komplett und sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Betten stehen Hotelbetten in nichts nach, die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und das Duschbad und beide Toiletten sind sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet - selbst die Handtücher waren frisch, duftend und vom Markenhersteller!Im Garten gibt es eigene Obstbäume und -sträucher und man ist nur von einem Radweg getrennt direkt an der Donau - mit Blick auf die Wachau, Burgruinen und Weinberge. Eine absolute Empfehlung für ein paar Tage Auszeit und Ruhe. Gastronomisch ist in der näheren Umgebung eher wenig geboten (aber in 10 min ist z.B. Melk ja gut erreichbar) und den Einkauf muss man etwas planen, da der nächste „richtige“ Supermarkt entweder eine kurze Fährüberfahrt oder aber 20 min Autofahrt one way entfernt liegt - aber das ist ein kleiner Preis für das Idyll, das Kathrin und Ronny hier geschaffen haben! Ich will eigentlich gar nicht zu sehr loben, damit wir auch in den nächsten Jahren nochmal die Chance haben, ein paar Tage in diesem Kleinod zu verbringen - aber wir hatten eine rundum schöne Zeit, Kathrin war jederzeit erreichbar und wir können Home Wachau ruhesuchenden Urlaubern, Paaren und Familien wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Kathrin ist eine sehr herzliche und engagierte Gastgeberin. Das Haus mit seiner perfekten Ausstattung und Lage und dann vor allem der Garten mit Pool sind einfach nur traumhaft und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können einen Urlaub hier absolut empfehlen !

Kurz gesagt: a home away from home - nur zusätzlich mit Pool, Sauna, Outdoor-Küche und -Kino sowie Naschobst aus dem Garten.Kathrin und Ronny haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen, waren stets erreichbar und haben unsere 10 Tage in der Wachau zu einem erholsamen, unkomplizierten und entspannten Urlaub werden lassen.Für kleinere Kinder ideal ausgestattet, zusätzlich ein beschatteter Spielplatz in 3 Minuten Gehzeit, Bücher, Malsachen und Spiele dabei. Generell eignet sich die Wachau sehr für einen Familienurlaub.Wir können und werden das Winzerhaus wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Herrliche Tage in der Wachau

Wir haben uns rundum wohl im Haus von Kathrin und Ronny gefühlt. Besser hätte es nicht sein können. Die Unterkunft war in Wirklichkeit noch besser als auf den Fotos. Wir konnten nicht alle Annehmlichkeiten nutzen, weil wir im Winter dort waren, können uns aber vorstellen, wie toll es ist im Sommer dort zu sein. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber! Marie-Louise

Ein super Ferienhaus

Wir hatten noch nie ein besseres Ferienhaus. Es fehlte an nichts, und mit den Holzöfen macht mancher ganz neue Erfahrungen. Sauna und beheizter Pool sind genial, selbst 4 Fahrräder waren da. Ein kleiner Backofen für Brötchen ist genauso vorhanden wie eine Mikrowelle und eine Kaffeemaschine für ganze Bohnen.

Schöne Auszeit in der Wachau

Wir waren das erste Mal in der Wachau und hatten das für uns perfekte Ferienhaus gefunden. Nach einem persönlichen, sehr herzlichen Empfang durch unsere Vermieter Familie Bürger wurden uns alle relevanten Dinge gezeigt und erklärt. Wir erhielten viele Tips, damit wir unseren Urlaub rundum genießen konnten. Das schöne Winzerhaus ist sehr gemütlich, modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen haben wir die Vorzüge der Outdoorküche genossen. Der Marillenbaum im herrlichen Garten hat uns die ganze Zeit mit Marillen versorgt. Abkühlung brachte uns der Pool mit freiem, fantastischem Blick auf die Donau und die Weinberge. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Für alles hatten unsere 10-Sterne-Vermieter Kathrin und Ronny vorgesorgt. Wir haben unsere Urlaubszeit sehr genossen. Wenn wir wieder in die Wachau kommen, dann nur zu Kathrin und Ronny.

Ins neue Jahr in Österreich gekommen

Also die Kinder und wir sind begeistert. Im Haus ist alles da wir hätten die hälfte gar nicht mitnehmen brauchen. Schöne Abende vor dem Kamin mit Gesellschaft spielen. Toller Ausblick auf die Berge und die Donau von der Sauna aus. In den Schaukeln konnte man perfekt relaxen, nach der Sauna. Großer Garten mit einem Grill und Feuerschale. Ausblick direkt auf die Donau. Gibt auch einen pool da wir im Januar da waren konnte man ihn leider nicht nutzen. Vielen Dank an Kathrin und Ronni für die tolle Erfahrung

Einfach wundervoll!

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang durch unsere Gastgeber waren wir sogleich von Haus & Garten direkt an der Donau sehr angetan. Es ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Fotos im Netz! Marillen im Garten pflücken, daraus Marillenknödel in der Outdoor-Küche zubereiten, den gut gefüllten Weinkühlschrank nutzen, im Salettl essen, im Pool planschen und den Sonnenuntergang "über der Donau" genießen... am nächsten Morgen draußen frühstücken und das Ganze von Neuem ... herrliches dolces vita. Es fehlte uns an nichts in diesem liebe- und stilvoll eingerichteten Haus mit dem wunderschönen Garten, welches regionale Geschichte und zeitgemäße Lebensart sehr harmonisch verbindet. Die Lage des Hauses eignet sich hervorragend für Ausflüge in jeden Winkel der Wachau aber natürlich auch nach Wien. Herzlichen Dank an unsere Vermieter Kathrin & Ronny von Konny & den Jungs und eine Streicheleinheit an Susi, die Nachbarskatze, die uns uns bei der Abreise allerliebst "verabschiedete" 🙂
