  • The Wildlife Safari is such an awesome place! It has been around for 38 years and was one of my favorite places I ever visited as a child. My children feel the same after visiting in the summer of 2014. This 600 acre park is home to over 500 animals and features a drive through park as well as a walk through viewing area, cafe and gift shop. One of our favorite parts is in a particular area of the drive-thru park, you can buy food and feed the animals which are emus and different types of deer from your car. A bit rundown but very clean, staff were all very nice. Room even had a couple down-alternative pillows, which are usually hard to find. Freezer in the room mini fridge was not at freezing temperature (my cooler ice was sludge in the morning) and none of the clocks in the room were set correctly. Breakfast is fine, nothing special.

This is a clean, comfortable, reliable stop on your way anywhere. Not much to do in town, but there is a pool on the premises and it’s pretty quiet for a motel. Beds are more comfortable than some b&bs we’ve been to. Simple breakfast, but they will make eggs to order.
