Hidden gem off the beaten path!

We enjoyed our stay on Lexie Lane so much! We were attending a family members wedding at Handsome Hollow about 30 min away and needed a place bigger than the recommended wedding hotels as we had our whole family, 2 adults and 3 kids aged 10-17. Our 17 yr old son loved having his own little house to stay in, but it would have been perfectly comfortable for a young couple too-you have to be spry enough to climb the ladder to the loft sleeping in the mini-cabin. The rest of us enjoyed the sleeping arrangements in the main house, comfy beds, air conditioned living room and lots of cozy blankets. There’s a charming fire pit next to a raised hot tub with string lights hung all around it. This area makes for a picture perfect evening with s’mores! Grab groceries on your way in at one of the larger groceries, supplies are limited in nearby Roscoe, but you can get the essentials. We enjoyed visiting all the small towns around the area, lots of antique shopping and cute little cafes. The Spotted Cow in Roscoe is especially delicious. If you’re a fan of yoga I recommend checking out the Alpaca farm nearby for some yoga with Alpacas! We did a lot of driving but really enjoyed our stay at this home, it’s very well furnished and comfortable for a family or group of friends. Internet is very limited in the area so make sure you navigate before you leave range of Wi-Fi. We hope to return someday!
