"It seemed like the owners was surprised by us really coming, although we booked a few months in advance. No warm welcome, just a small buena Sierra, no smile, no wifi code. "This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

"Really nice place, delicious sweet breakfast. Beautiful rooms in the farmland. Only slight negative is water wasn't super hot, but it was warm. Heating worked (important for November) and we were the only ones there. Really good value for the money (in the off season at least)."

"We had a wonderful stay here! The boutique hotel had spacious rooms and was situated on lovely grounds. A quick walk took us to the Paestum Archeological Site, and when we returned we enjoyed some gelato, sorbets and wine served in their garden. Dining at the restaurant attached to the hotel (Casa Coloni) was fantastic. We got their fish menu, and it was one of the best meals we’ve had to date on our excursions across Italy. We had a lovely night’s sleep followed by a great breakfast the next morning. If you’re reading this looking for inspiration to click the “book” button, do it. Book here. Lovely room, delicious meal, great amenities, not even a 10 minute walk from a UNESCO World Heritage site. What else could you ask for?"
