Great hotel

Beware of this property. The room size does not match the description. We received the same room type we booked and the size of the room was 30% smaller than advertised. The room was advertised as 183 sq ft/17 sq m and we received a room that was closer to 130 sq ft/12sq m. This made for a very uncomfortable stay. The lack of space in the room leads to poor room design to walk around and open bathroom doors. The hotel staff told Expedia we are cramped because we brought big luggage instead of admitting to the discrepancy in the listing. This hotel should be investigated for falsely advertising the room size. I am sure many people would not book the room if they knew what they would receive. I stayed in room 316. This hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel but has no amenities to back up this rating. The only positive was air conditioning was better than most hotels that are older than this property. We stayed in July and the thick bedding was more suitable for winter time.

The hotel is in a very good location, with everything nearby and easy access to the main areas of Nice. However, the overall experience does not match the price, as it feels too expensive for the level of service provided. The rooms are not cleaned daily, and there is no staff available to assist guests or handle issues when needed. In addition, there is no 24-hour lobby or reception, which can be inconvenient, especially for late arrivals or unexpected situations. Overall, the location is excellent, but the service and guest support need significant improvement to justify the price.
