Building is a bit dated albeit the section to the front was in the midst of construction works. Some of the vegetarian options were very expensive for what they were, but otherwise staff were pleasant.

Prachtig hotel hele vriendelijke mensen.

Hele vriendelijke mensen, de receptioniste heef tme gelijk stukje van het hotel laten zien. Ik vinde combinatie geweldig oudheden antieke stukken met moderne afgewisseld. Voel me erg op mijn gemak. Heerlijke bedden prachtige omgeving.

Great hotel

Great hotel, was on 2nd floor, room cold only negative point, would stay again. Travellers note taxis are expensive, and ideally need booking the night before.

Great hotel , clean & efficient staff. Very happy with our stay . Although the hotel building is very old , the bathroom is modern with good shower & toilet . Room is decorated is with a “old” style in keeping with the ambience of the hotel

Alles was top. Alleen de prijs op de bevestiging was niet correct. Ik moest nog 30 bijbetalen voor 2 extra bedden. Het ontbijt viel ook tegen voor die prijs. Over het algemeen was het prima en als het nodig is kom ik zeker een keer terug.

Erg indrukwekkend gebouw. Groot, oud maar gemoderniseerd en heel veel gangetjes, trapjes en vertrekken. Je zou zo kunnen verdwalen. Binnentuin was erg mooi en heel gezellig. Het zwembad zag er ook goed uit maar voor ons toch een beetje te koud. Erg aardige receptionistes die erg behulpzaam waren met informatie. Het diner werd geserveerd in het gezellige atrium. Moesten wel lang wachten op het eten maar alles was vers en goed bereid. Komende uit de Horeca moest ik wel wennen aan het bedienend personeel. Voor zo'n hoogstaand restaurant had ik wel verwacht dat het bedienend personeel meer aandacht zou besteden aan uiterlijk (kleding en verzorging) maar dat is mijn mening.

The best hotel in Netherlands ever

Excellent scenic place to stay and relax. Loved the sauna and the pool, as well as the farm animals at the adjacent plots of land. The food at the restaurant was rather bland, but very fresh and very good quality. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was very relaxing.

Extremely overpriced

Outdated but clean hotel, some of the staff were quite friendly. Extremly overpriced breakfast, especially considering the fact that we were not informed about the extra charges for breakfast in advance. Reception staff at the checkout didn’t have decency enough to apologize for failing to inform us about extra charges but instead rudely lashed out at us like it was our fault that we didn’t get that information. Ended up with breakfast almost more expensive than the room itself. Dinner was overpriced as well, the quality and the size of the portions didn’t match extremely high prices. Restaurant staff was difficult to contact, they were absent from the main room serving a larger group on the terrace and not paying attention to us in the main dining room. Rooms don’t have AC but we got 2 fans which helped a bit. All in all a huge disappointment, won’t be staying here again.

groot ruim hotel aan de Maas

ruime kamer doch niet warm te krijgen op een koude avond in maart. Zwembad was ook te koud om ervan te genieten. 's Avonds lekker gegeten en prima ontbijt 's morgens. Vriendelijke mensen.
