Overall the hotel was ok. The room was very warm even with the fan on so sleeping was difficult. Being on the first floor I could open the doors but I did not want to leave the. Open while sleeping or while it was raining. It rained my entire stay. Location was ok even being outside city centre. Having a rental car would be difficult to park if you are not familiar with the area.

Good and peaceful base for exploring central Catania. No traffic noise as hotel is on a small cul-de-sac. Rooms are large and bathroom in 321 had a full bath. Staff were helpful and friendly. Aircon in our room was not working . Toilet seat had come loose . Bed was large and firm. Overall a decent space . TV was LG and fairly modern. Only had Italian channels.

Had a great stay of 5 nights, really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The staff here is wonderful, very helpful. The location is perfect very close to city center and easy access to all major attractions and transit. The hotel itself is very beautiful and we enjoyed the breakfast, drinks and time here at hotel and catania.

This hotel is a total dump. Rooms are outright unsafe and full of black mold. Missing and loose floor boards are a tripping hazard. Does not look anything like the photos in the Expedia listing and booking info. Massively overpriced, old and falling apart literally.

Facility was clean and well kept but the resort restaurant was closed and there wasn’t much to do. We had to drive in town to Scilla which was pretty but was a bit warn. Stray cats everywhere and not many places were open. Keep in mind it was 5pm.
