"The breakfast was not very fresh. Thr warm food was soggy. The hot tub was not warm enough. The floor is the bathroom was dirty. The staff were very nice and the hotel is in a good spot to walk to the river and downtown. "

"What a Amazing stay! So relaxing. My bird phone app picked up so many different kinds of birds around there. The hot tub was nice. The host left us some wine and a gift card which was so nice. This caboose had so many extras. Loved reading the guest book with a glass of wine. So many people stayed and returned again and thats just what we want to do. It was me and my husbands 18th wedding anniversary . Will definitely be back. "

"The host was very nice, helpful, and communicative. Property is lovely, isolated, and scenic - on a working cattle farm. 15 minutes from downtown Viroqua. Several spaces are available indoors and out for socializing.The property description was slightly inaccurate with number of beds, but the owner was very apologetic and actively trying to correct that -she offered compensation for the mistake. The owners allowed us to shelter our vehicles in a large barn during severe weather and actively warned us when a tornado warning was issued for the area.The house is spacious and perfect for our group of 7 men, but would also accommodate several couples with or without kids.It is in the country and on a farm, so there are some bugs in the house (Japanese and other beetles), but that’s farm life and it wasn’t a problem.It was a great homestead for our large group of trout fishermen and we’d recommend it for an outdoorsy escape from the city."
