The cabin was amazing. Very secluded but not to far from everything the Gorge has to offer. The driving instructions made it very easy to find. Its the perfect spot to have a get away. Highly recommend.
Moonbow was everything we needed. Clean, peaceful, secluded. We ran in to one minor issue and our hosts took care of it immediately. We will definitely be returning.
I had such a great time at Moonbow! Just me and my dog for two peaceful nights in a wonderful secluded location. Cabin was nice and had everything I needed. I hope to do it again soon. !!neyear..year!needed. Nearby good.
This cabin looks brand new and is very clean. Super private! The only negatives were not really even a big deal: the porch is really sunny in the late afternoon (but it is covered which we loved) and the water pressure isn’t the best - but it seems to be city water and has zero smell. It has a full kitchen with nice big fridge and dishwasher. We would love to visit again.
Cabin was in amazing condition, clean, well stocked, and everything in working order! If you are looking for a cozy, private getaway this is the right place for sure!
Great little cabin. The setting was beautiful and the cabin was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower. We really enjoyed our stay, the hiking and views in the parks were phenomenal and RedPoint BBQ is a real hidden gem.
Moonbow Cabin is a secluded, cozy and relaxing place to unwind! The jacuzzi was so amazing after a day of hiking, the fire pit offered warmth and ambiance after a day of kayaking and the architecture and decor of the cabin, inside and out, greatly enhanced our trip to the Red River Gorge. We definitely did not want to leave! Wonderful stay!!! Thank you for hosting a truly fantastic get-away!!
Moonbow was perfect for a quick couple get away. So cozy and comfortable for just the two of us. Kitchen was nice to cook in. Hot tub was relaxing and our farthest drive was 15 mins. Recommend ziplining, underground kayaking, and the general store fudge and ice cream.
Very secluded cabin for a quiet peaceful and romantic weekend. I haven’t slept that well in a long time. Beware if you’re missing the remote the couch may eat it and it’s in the back of the cushion you can access lol
Nestled in a private area, this cabin was just what we were hoping for on our getaway. We were impressed with the build and cleanliness. It is secluded, yet close to the attractions and restaurants we were planning on visiting. The host does a great job providing a description of how to locate the cabin, since there is not an exact address GPS will take you to. Make sure you read the guide the host provides before you go! It includes the directions how to get there. Do not be like us and wait, and not know how to find the cabin! We did have quite an adventure driving through the mountain trying to locate it before calling the host, who was so kind and patient, and was able to tell us exactly where to go from where we were.We highly recommend the Moonbow Cabin!

My first negative review.
We stay in 10-15 vrbo locations each year, and ive never been inclined to post a review beyond praise for exceeding expectations. We book everything from glamping to luxury suites and adjust our expectations accordingly. With that being said, this stay has forever eliminated "pets allowed" from our filter. We shrugged it off when the gravel road in required excessive accelerating and tight turns to navigate to the driveway. We were thankful to be physically able to carry our luggage down the treacherous gravel slope from where we had to leave the vehicle to the entrance (luckily neither of our parents attended). It wasn't even the MULTIPLE times that I had to get up in the middle of the night to catch mice to stop them from biting on the bedroom and bathroom doors. When booking a cabin in the woods, sometimes, stuff just happens. My inspiration for the subpar review, however, is based on the cleanliness overall of the small cabin. I fail to understand how a business card dated the day of our arrival could claim to have cleaned the small living room, bedroom, and bathroom when literally everything was covered in white dog hair, smelled like wet dog, and had just clearly not been wiped or cleaned. Sure, they folded the toilet paper on the roll and made the bed, but from tumble weeds of hair in EVERY window sill to sticky soda all inside and down the fridge, freezer and cabinets, it was very hard to relax when everything (including the sheets and bath) made us feel like dirty.
