"We enjoyed the house, it was roomy and pretty clean. I would suggest that housekeeping uses unscented soaps and dryer sheets when washing sheets & towels. I am highly sensitive to scents and had a hard time however I brought my own sheets and even though I used my own sheets the scent was still there probably from the mattress cover. The towels were just as bad. Also, the listing should state no swimming at the property. I would not have known that if I hadn’t sent a text to the owner regarding...

"My husband and I stayed here to visit family in the area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Melissa was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The location is quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed fires at the firepit both nights. I very highly recommend this cabin and we are planning to come back in the fall to see all the fall colors. "

Quiet Cabin Setting on small river

10/10 Excellent

"Myself and a few friends from the military spent a weekend here. The property is so relaxing with the beautiful stream running behind it. We made good use of the Cornhole boards and fire pit. The deck was nice to have dinner on and relax. We did a river trip out of Baldwin and it was super convenient. Would 100% recommend as a nice friends trip away from the hustle and bustle."

We hope you enjoy what our place and what Barryton has to offer.” This was the description of the property and why I rented it. The REALITY of this property was: 1 full sized bed and no bunk bed in one bedroom. 1 bunk bed and no other bed in the second bedroom. There was NO possibility of sleeping 5. The whole cabin smelled musty, and turning on the AC did not help. There was no mirror in the bathroom. Cobwebs and dust present - the place was not clean. The “waterfront” consisted of a swamp on one side and a 10’ canal on the other side. This property was totally misrepresented!"

Some areas are looking like they need attention but overall the price was right for the offering. Breakfast was good with some healthy options."
