"Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...

"Ideal location for exploring Meissen, Dresden and the Swiss Saxony area. The property is fabulous with everything you need and more for a relaxing stay and totally exceeds the description given. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and were there if needed without intruding. Overall would highly recommend the property and area for a relaxing holiday."

"We, a family of 5, stayed at this apartment for a little getaway weekend. We found this apartment to be quite comfortable, well placed within the town and stocked with all the necessaties. The check-in was simple and easy, and communication with the host was flawless. He even provided a parking spot behind the apartment, upon request. We also brought our dog, who was also welcome. There is a small park about a 10 minute walk away for kids. Just to note (as I must have missed it in the listing)...

"Es war wie Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof.Sehr freundliche und Hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die uns mit offenen Armen empfangen haben und es gab gleich für jeden ein Willkommens Getränk. Zu dem gab es dann noch frische Eier von den eigenen Hühnern.Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und es gab alles, was man evtl braucht. Auch Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden zur Verfügung gestellt und mußte nicht selber mitgebracht werden. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr schön und perfekt um mit dem Hund auf Wanderschaft zu gehen....

"Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage dort. Wir sind als Paar mit 2 Hunden angereist. Zwei kleine Abstriche mussten wir in Bezug auf unsere beiden Hunde leider hinnehmen. Zum einen ist das Grundstück nicht komplett „ausbruchssicher“ eingezäunt, weil das Hoftor fehlte. Zum Anderen die steile gebogene Treppe, die den Eingangsbereich mit dem Wohnbereich im ersten Stock verbindet. Hier würde sich eine Sicherung anbieten, welche verhindert das Vierbeiner oder Kleinkinder unbeabsichtigt die Treppe...

"Pros: Supernette Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll ausgestattet zum Wohlfühlen, Küche vollständig -es fehlte an nichts. Direkte Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie z.B. Bäcker, Metzger - nur kurze Wege dorthin. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten z.B. Dom, Elbe, Burg .....etc. alles prima zu Fuß zu erreichen. Cons: Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden."

"Pros: Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub braucht. Für mitgebrachte Fahrräder steht eine Garage zur Verfügung. Cons: Die Fahrt zu den Seen mit Fahrrad ist nicht einfach. Radwege nicht so gut oder nicht immer vorhanden. Die Seenlandschaft hat perfekte Radwege."

"The staff were spectacular -very helpful and kind. Room was clean, and modern. Lobby was nice. Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot. Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it. Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."
