This cozy historic bookstore has been transformed into a chic 2 bedroom space for a unique Rockport experience! Enjoy the convenience (and rare amenity in dowtown Rockport!) of 2 reserved parking spaces. Step into this pre-1900 space and you'll be greeted by an open space full of rich colors and light. The vaulted ceilings and exposed beams are the perfect backdrop to this central gathering spot. A colorful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for meals. We had a wonderful stay at this property! It has everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. Upon arriving, the apartment was spotless, roomy, and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful place! We stayed here for a wedding in Gloucester and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice Rockport really was. Walking distance from the shoreline, shops, and restaurants. Quintessential New England town with great charm. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location. I walked from the train station with my luggage. Only 8 minutes. Property next to a market and pizza parlor. Short walk to town, front beach and back beach. Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful unit & great location near the beach

We had a great stay here. Very convenient walking distance to the beach and shops. The unit is fully equipped with all the essentials. Clear instructions were provided. The host is very responsive. 2 parking spots provided which is very convenient. The space is just beautiful! If I have to give a constructive feedback I would say the towels need to be updated. They were very thin and just don't have much life in them. Overall, great experience and we will definitely come back.

Gorgeous Rockport Getaway

Spent a delightful 4 days in this lovely vacation spot. Thoughtfully and beautifully arranged, beds were wonderfully firm memory foam and super comfortable, had everything you needed ( but bring your own beach towels) Nice quiet location, just a few minutes walk to great little beaches, shopping and dining just around the corner in Bearskin Neck. Except for a 5 minute drive to a “big” grocery store, didn’t get in the car for days. Saw a fantastic performance at the very close Shaelin Liu center , 2 minutes walk. There was an issue with one of the utilities shortly after we arrived and the owner was very responsive, apologized, and had it fixed almost immediately. (Thanks Rachel!) Really loved this place, highly recommend. I am also a VRBO host for over 10 years, so my standards are pretty high!

Fall Break / Salem Trip

My husband, brother & sister in law had planned a trip to Salem/New England for the week of Halloween however my in laws had to cancel last minute. My husband and I went on the trip alone and this place was perfect for just us! We didn’t need the extra bedroom of course but everything was absolutely perfect for just my husband and I. Private parking, off the street, easily accessible for anyone who may have handicap issues, there is 3 steps with in the apartment to get to the restroom which was no problem for us. Everything was neat and clean. Anything and everything you needed was provided, even sunblock. No complaints other than the beds were very firm but some people prefer that. We also had to google how to use the heating/cooling units because we personally were not familiar with that particular type. No real issue we couldn’t figure out. We were a 30 minute drive from Salem. Walking distance from all the little shops in Rockport. 10 minute drive from Gloucester. 1 hour drive from Boston. This area was so beautiful in October that we ended up only spending 1 day in Salem and spent a lot of the week in other areas. I would recommend this place to anyone I know going to the area to visit. We had a wonderful time. It was quiet, peaceful and adorable!
