"We had a wonderful stay at the little cabin in Caldwell. We booked at the last minute while we were in town for a family funeral, and it was such a convenient place for us and our two dogs—especially with hotel prices up because of the game in Bryan–College Station. The cabin was comfortable and very accommodating for our dogs. We were a little unsure at first about privacy because the cabin is close to the owners’ home, but there was no issue at all. They respected our space, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. We also appreciated not having a long list of checkout chores. We only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the property and watch the sunset! One small suggestion would be to add a place to hang clothes and another mirror outside the bathroom. We had nice clothes for the funeral and could have used somewhere to hang them, and an extra mirror would make it easier for two people to get ready at once. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d happily stay here again if we’re back in Caldwell. Five stars!"

"This is a charming home and felt and looked clean and well-cared for. The property was fenced within a pasture, which means it’s very peaceful and quiet. I slept like a rock, better than I do at home. The king bed was firm and supportive with some cushion, pillow top, I think. It might be fairly new. My husband wished it was a little softer but it was great for me. The host was quick to respond to our arrival concern. Also, beyond the regular decor, the home was seasonally decorated for fall, which was a nice, homey touch."
