This house was perfect for our 4th of July vacation! We had 6 adults and everyone had plenty of room. The house was clean and well-stocked. The location is amazing! We hardly drove to town or to the beach. If anyone has mobility issues, you would definitely need to drive because there is a very steep hill, but we loved the location. View was great! Exactly as advertised.

We enjoyed our stay. The view was fabulous. You could see a lot of the town, the ocean, and the sky. Beautiful sunsets. Lots of space with 3 bedrooms and a bonus gameroom. Nice jacuzzi bathtub too! Just up the hill from restaurants and the train depot. We would love to stay here again!

What a view!

The views are amazing! Ocean views from large windows. Our bed was very comfy. Loved that you had a washer dryer. The master bedroom bath and shower were so nice. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very quiet neighborhood. Beach towels and nice beach area. This is a great house to visit!

Great location and view. A bit dated

Great location overlooking the town and the ocean. The layout of the house works with multiple groups. The house was free of dust and looked clean, but the towels, sheets, pillows, beds and decor indicate that the house has not been updated in decades and could use a refresh. The showers need a deep clean.

Amazing views!!

We picked this property because of the deck with views and it did not disappoint! You could see the ocean from all of the rooms in this house and we slept with the windows open listening to the ocean. House was comfortable and clean, kitchen was fairly well stocked with things you need to cook a basic meal. They had games to play and some book to read on the shelf. 2 min drive into rockaway and close to a market. I will definitely be back here again! Highly recommend :)

Family gathering

The location is perfect - great views from upper floor fun room and out door deck - very private surrounding - yes driveway is easy to miss but that part of the privacy. We prepared all meals in house - kitchen preformed great for all our needs - one minor issue BBQ - ran out of gas and back up tank was empty or broken -walking to the beach is easy if your OK with a short up hill on the return - good proxisimity to Tillamook Creamery and Oswald state park - which has a great beach for surfing and playing in the ocean

Beautiful views. Kitchen and bathrooms not as clean as I would like. Should know that you just need to put all the flatware and glasses in the dishwasher and run it. Other than that we had a very nice time.

Great vacation home

In a sea of homes, this one is nice and secluded. Driveway was a little tricky the first time. We arrived in the dark/fog/rain. We stayed a full week. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Lots of reference materials in the home about things to do in the local area. We visited waterfalls and lighthouse that we may not have found on our own thanks to guides in the home. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving. Temperatures ranged from high of low 40s down to the 20's at night. This three-level home could be quite warm on the upper floors compared to the lowest floor. If you bought a few sticks of firewood, you could probably solve this. Overall great experience. Floor plan allows for groups to gather, yet offers space for seclusion as well. We did have others hanging out during the day. Other family members had VRBO home just up the hill managed by the same company. It was quiet, comfortable, and equipped with everything a person needs.

We enjoyed our stay in Rockaway Beach! This house was located on a mountain that overlooked the beach. The road up to the driveway is quite steep, but the property was well maintained. The house was well kept and it was great to watch the sunset over the beach in the evenings.

This place was 100% what we needed for our first time in Oregon!! The house was so spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home (there were 8 of us- mix of adults and kids). The location was perfect and the description of the house, location and access to get in was spot on. We hope to visit again one day and make this our go to place for when we are on the Oregon coast! I recommend this home 1000 times over!

The view alone is worth every penny spent to enjoy this lovely home. It provided a welcoming space for family to gather, visit, relax and enjoy, which was the purpose of this trip. The open living space. huuuge! table and the views (again) made for 2 long nights of card games and conversations. While we didn't cook any meals, the kitchen was very well equipped has that been the case. Only one concern was the condition of the outdoor grill. It needs a thorough cleaning before it could be safely used, in my opinion. (And that is absolutely the only negative comment I have to offer). We very much appreciated the abundance of linen, blankets and pillows available Sleeping accommodations were perfect for privacy, windows open to cool fresh air and the ocean sounds lulling us to a good nights sleep. The secluded aspect of the property lent itself to a serenity not often found at vacation places. After a perfect weekend it was incredibly thoughtful that the check out process was so quick and easy. That made for a hassle free departure and again, most appreciated Definitely would utilize this home again (and again) as more relatives come west for a vacation. Great space to spread out in. There were 4 of us and everyone was very pleased. We cooked and had everything we needed. Not far from the beach. We had a bit of a problem opening the front door, but then read the directions more closely and all was well.
