    The Space:

    You're going to love spending your next Rockaway Beach vacation in this duplex gem constructed in 2021! After a fun day of collecting sand dollars or enjoying a hot-weather hike (you're just one minute from the beach!), come home to spread out in a bright and welcoming living space filled with lots of comfortable furniture and coastal decor. You can stream your favorite content from the living room's flatscreen TV whenever you want to host a fun movie night with friends, and the full kitchen is waiting with all the appliances and counter space you'll need to turn out some delicious game-day snacks. Enjoy dinners and quick afternoon lunches at the breakfast bar with stool seating for eight. Off the kitchen, you'll find a shared bath, and there are four well-appointed bedrooms upstairs, one with an en-suite bath. Use the free WiFi to connect to your social media friends while the private washer/dryer take care of everyone's laundry. The central AC will keep the home nice and cool on those hot summer days.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy
Bodily Fluid/Blood Stained Bedding, Filthy, Ant Infested and Zero Maintenance! Arrived and the parking situation is not great for anything larger than compact. The key box is difficult to open. Opened the door and was greeted with stained floors and a strong odor. The walls are scared and covered in damage. It was 80 degrees inside and the HVAC was set to 70. Found the A\C Filter was so plugged it couldn’t move any air. Went to use the vacuum on the filter and the wheel fell off. Moved our bag into the main bedroom and decided to look closer at the bedding only to find “crusty yellow stains” on the comforter and throw pillows. Pulled back the sheets and found dried blood. Went down stairs to the kitchen and 4 lights were burned out. Then went to turn on the portch light and all three were burned out. Seen a couple ants when we arrived the next days we kept seeing more and more. Until the kitchen was infested. Then started seeing them upstairs. There is water damage in the bathrooms with what appears to be black mold. The road noise is pretty bad in the morning in any of the bedrooms near the road side of the home. The property manager did bring some light bulbs for the kitchen and dry cleaned the bedding. Which I guess helped. We are not hard to please but this was the worst experience we have had in a short term rental. If we had anywhere else to go we would have. For the price we paid this stay was a joke. We should be demanding a refund!
