The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view is amazing and access to the beach was easy. We had a great time exploring the area and would definitely come back again. The hosts provided easy check in/check out instructions and were very communicative.

Quiet getaway

Property was great as was communication with the host! The view was amazing, quick walk to the beach, and floorplan of the house was perfect! Kids enjoyed the downstairs area in the evenings while the upstairs was a nice quiet retreat. The kids loved the heated kitchen floor and spent mornings sitting in the kitchen playing battleship!

Best beach access

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great floor plan especially the patio facing the beach. It seemed very private the way it was sheltered slightly on each side, didn't notice the neighbors. Lovely sunsets and perfect access to the beach!

another fantastic stay

Perfect central location for our family vacation to the oregon coast. Tillamook to Cannon Beach and everything in between. Quiet with backdoor access to the beach, the best!

Fabulous Beach Vacation!!

This is a perfect beach house for a large family or families!! The view is amazing, the kitchen well-stocked, and the house filled with books, puzzles, beach toys, comfortable beds and lounging furniture. We loved our stay here!!!

Family reunion

Beautiful beach home

Perfect home on the beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and the sunsets. The home floor plan is awesome with two living spaces. Home was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Great owners and check in was easy.

Great location on Rockaway

Rockaway Beach is amazing and less busy than Arch Cape or Cannon Beach, but both are a short drive away. The house has a gorgeous ocean view and great layout. The beach is literally 2 minutes away. The owners are responsive and attentive.

Quiet and Family Friendly

The house was spacious and had a perfect view of the ocean. We loved that there was a dining table big enough for all of us, and the huge movie collection was a bonus. We stay in Rockaway every year because of its quiet location, and this house didn't let us down. It's in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of uncrowded beach to enjoy.

Another great stay

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times. As always, it was super clean and has everything you need. Location is fantastic, right on the beach and a short drive to town. Hope to stay again next year. My only wish is that they would put screens on the windows.

Annual Family Beach Trip

We have stayed at this same location for several summers for our annual family beach trip. We love it every time! It is well stocked with all the beach toys that you need. It is a great location for a sandy beach without crowds. There are also plenty of games and movies available when you are taking a break from the beach. We will be back!

60th Anniversary get-away <3

Amazing home with an incredible front-seat view of the ocean! Comfortable, easy access to the beach, incredible sunsets and for us....a lot of love to go around having had our 2 daughters/2 sons-in-law with us to celebrate for the entire week! Highly recommend these wonderful hosts, as well as a good time to be had by all!!

Great house, perfect location

This was our second time staying at Beach Star. It’s a beautiful house, comfortably furnished, and has everything you need for a great vacation. The only thing it was missing was a Bluetooth speaker so bring your own if you want to listen to your tunes.

Loved every moment. Perfect spot with comfortable home. We left a Griz hoodie hanging on the pegs by the door. Please just hang it in a closet and we will grab it when we come back next year.

This is our second year staying at beach star. Our 4 generation group were ages 8-93. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, comfortable beds, short walk to ocean. Loved going to sleep listening to the waves. Everything was perfect. I had to call owner with a question, and was immediately answered. Very good communication from start to finish

Wonderful Property

Location Location Location...if you love looking at the ocean, walking down to the beach in under a minute this is your place. The house was perfect for my family and our in-laws. The owners were so terrific when my son left a sweatshirt and were even willing to make a drive out to get it. We found another way but the gesture was amazing!

Thanksgiving

My family and I (all adults) had a wonderful stay at Beach Star. The property is steps from the beach and the second floor leaving space overlooks the ocean. There are 2 Kings rooms on the 2nd floor and 1 room with a bunks and additional bed on the 1st floor. The 1st floor also has a smart television. It was so nice not having the distraction of the tv on the 2nd floor, our family spent a lot of time reading and looking at the coast, when not walking along it. We cooked a full thanksgiving dinner minus the Turkey, which we brought pre-cooked, and all the cooking equipment, knifes, pots and pans we needed were provided. The sound system is great, bring your favorite CDs to enjoy it! Loved the stay!

Best Beach View

Super impressed with the property. The location of this house is fantastic. You can just walk right down to the beach from the back patio. We had teenagers with us and it was so great to be able to let them go back and forth and explore while we watched from the kitchen and patio. We particularly enjoyed going out at low tide early in the morning with coffee and looking for sand dollars as well as roasting smores over our little beach fire at night. The hot water never seemed to run out which was impressive for 6 girls in the house. Well stocked kitchen. Cute shopping nearby as well as places to go crabbing and get fresh seafood. Very clean with comfy matresses. Crazy big dvd and book collection. You could stay here for months and never get bored. Highly recommend.

Great Property

Beach access is fine if you use the public entrance to the left of the house. The path from the house leads to a rather significant drop to the beach (about 6 to 8 feet) that is doable but the public access is much better, especailly if you have chairs, toys, etc. Home is laid out perfectly for enjoying the great ocean views! TV viewing is downstairs which makes sense. Lots of DVDs but did not have access to streaming channels, such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Really enjoyed the house but not a good location for beachcombing. Would recomment to others.

Absolutely gorgeous place, perfect stay!

Beautiful, spacious, upscale home on virtually private beach. It does not get any better than this--best vacation rental ever! The house, on a quiet uncrowded street and literally oceanfront, is huge, stylish, and immaculate. Layout is wonderful for gathering or separate activities. Plenty of room for 2 couples plus 4 children. Jan the owner is extraordinarily kind and responsive. Gorgeous LR with wall of windows has stunning ocean views, deep padded leather sofa and recliners to relax and soak up the vista. Beautiful fireplace accent wall. Large LR is open to very spacious DR with solid table and chairs to accommodate 8+, and more wide ocean views! Amazing kitchen had literally everything we could want, inc fancy cake pans, crock pot and electric grill. We cooked almost every night--plenty of space for multiple adults and kids to assist, or advise from the counter bar seats. MBR has lovely ocean views and bed is super comfy. Plenty of storage in closet and armoire, a rare plus in a vacation home. Nice large shower in ensuite bathroom. 2nd BR was also comfortable with mountain views and attached bath. And there's a downstairs too! Pretty entry, huge TV room, washer/dryer, Kid Room plus another full bath. Did I mention this house has everything? Stupendous ocean sunsets every night from the wide porch or from our "private" silky sand beach. Beach toys and kites, and outdoor faucet to wash off the sand. Cute town to enjoy fudge, plus scenic tidepooling nearby. PERFECT STAY!
