"This was an absolutely amazing place to stay. Everything in the app is exactly what you will see when you walk into the home. The neighborhood is clean and quiet - close to all amenities (restaurants, shopping, gas, hospital, etc.). The house itself was beautiful and spotless - all linens and towels were very nice and clean; kitchen was spotless with all necessary items to cook a full dinner; washer/dryer was such a extra bonus; all beds were so very comfortable. This was one of the nicest houses we stayed in. The owner Kim was very responsive in emails prior to our stay and while we were there. I felt like it was "our home away from home". I would totally recommend this house and hope to stay again the future when we travel back to Pinehurt. Love, love, love everything about this house - no complaints. "

"Staying at The Robin’s Egg was convenient and comfortable. It’s a perfect launching point to several local areas and a quick jaunt into town. The bed is super comfortable and I felt safe and relaxed while in Pinehurst on my own to attend a wedding. Check in was easy, the owners are responsive and friendly, and I have no hesitation recommending Robin’s egg to others. "

"Absolutely amazing time at the castle! We had all of the family - adults loved having 4 king beds - that’s practically impossible to find! The place was SO spacious! You could have kids sleep on air mattresses in the gigantic closets of their parents’ rooms. And if you need a little peace, there are plenty of options for solitude. The pool and game room were huge hits. The grandkids still can’t decide which was more fun. Even the adults loved the pool slide! There were several floats and pool toys on the property. The house itself is really interesting - true medieval castle vibe. It’s not in pristine condition, so it’s easy to have your dog or little kids without being paranoid over everything. We do these family gatherings often and eat all of our meals at home. This kitchen did not have nearly as much in the way of dishes or cooking utensils as we’ve had elsewhere, but we made it work with paper plates and frequent utensil washing. Those stairs you see in the photos will cause some pause with toddlers. You do have to keep an eye on them. Overall, we had a blast and would love to return! Kate was responsive, kind, and personable. Love love loved the castle! "
