"Delightful. The hostess goes out of her way to assist walkers. Little things, like putting transferred luggage into guests’ rooms, mean such a lot at the end of a long day’s walking. Delicious scones on arrival and very nice breakfast. Lots of tips for the West Highland Way."

"This home is in a very beautiful location; the grounds are amazing. Drymen is a great community and great food options for as small as it is. The house was well maintained for as old as it is, with large space for multiple families. Very clean and the caretakers were very helpful. We stayed at several other locations in Scotland and found this house to be a bit on the expensive side, comparatively."

"Excellent hostel! I stayed in the Court - I’m a light sleeper and even with earplugs, I woke often as people were coming and going at all hours of the night. Disturbances would likely be less in the other rooms. The facilities, social aspect of the hostel and the staff were top notch! They have activities each day to connect you with others. As a solo traveller, it was incredible and more reason to stay in a hostel. Price was great for Edinburgh and the location cannot be beat!"

"This was a very nice, pleasant flat to stay in, quite spacious for a one bedroom with a pretty kitchen, a large living room and a nice bedroom. I'd appreciate a bath as well as a shower to make it perfect, but it was clear before we went from photos that there's no bath so it wasn't a problem - just a wish! It was a good location, far enough away from the pubs that you couldn't hear any noise but only about 3 minutes walk to get to the shop or a pub."
