Our suite had brand new carpeting. The only problem was the doors would barely move over it. The room was nice and clean Except the jacuzzi bathroom. It needed a better cleaning. It was ok, but i would want better. I would stay here again

This was our 3rd hotel in weldon in 3 yrs, and the only one we will come back to. For affordable hotels this stay was excellent, staff was very nice. I think it is on older hotel but updated and clean.

The check in staff was excellent, he was very helpful, friendly and efficient, which we appreciated. The room was excellent, comfortable, clean, roomy, updated and stylish. Breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for traveling, right off 95. We highly recommended it.

I feel bad leaving this review because the front desk worker was WONDERFUL but our room had bugs in it and a weird smell. We ended up getting a refund and continuing down the highway. The room itself looked clean and the beds were nicely made but it is the south and they are near water so some bugs are expected. There was also a group of men hanging out on the second floor balcony around midnight.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, despite the less-than-stellar reviews. It was clean, updated, near the highway, and though the bed was firm, it was still very comfortable; it also allows pets, which was the main reason we booked it (for $15 fee); at least where we stayed in building 1, it seemed updated and clean. The hot breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles, and fruit, so it was also pretty good. Overall, I would stay here again, especially in building 1. The long term guests seem to stay in the further buildings, as a few were sitting in chairs drinking and watching people, which would have made me uncomfortable if i was a solo female traveler, but with an additional person to share the space with, i felt safe and comfortable in the room. The AC wasn't the best, but that's really my one complaint. I would definitely stay here again, especially while driving through for a night.

A nice break from the storm

Driving home in the tropical storm we where elated to get a break & sleep in a clean comfortable room - breakfast was included in the morning & everything was great
