Excellent apartment with all the essentials provided. Appreciated the snacks, coffee, tea, and kitchen supplies. It made it easy to cook breakfast in the morning. The bed is super comfortable! Steve is a great host and wonderful at communicating. I appreciated the check in/parking video before we arrived.
Visiting our son, the loft was perfect. Easy check in, great communication, clean and spacious, we will definitely stay here on our next visit to Roanoke. There is a similar loft on the other side making it great for two couples traveling together.
The property was very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Area was quiet and within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here on future visits.
This little rooftop apartment was absolutely perfect in every way! Close to everything and roomy with all the creature comforts. They even added a few amenities to make our stay even more special. Big thanks for making our weekend trip even better!

Stayed for 6 nights and was a nice sized apartment that had everything we needed. It was walkable to the core of downtown but in a quiet area with businesses that were only open during the day so noise at night was not a problem. Parking in the lot next to the building was easy and we were pleased to find that instead of having to carry everything up stairs (we brought bikes) you can just walk onto the roof from the back of the parking lot after opening the back door from the front entrance. Would definitely stay again.
My wife and I stayed for a long weekend and were so happy with everything the property had to offer! The location is perfect, the property is clean and sufficiently stocked for any cooking needs.
Great location. Attentive and thoughtful host. Everything we could have needed was provided. This was our second visit and will definitely be visiting again.
A lot of attention was put into making this apartment comfortable and convenient. Lots of good restaurants within a few blocks. I'll definitely come back.
My husband and I went to Roanoke for our anniversary. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. This place was super close to downtown. When we went, the weather was stormy, but we could have easily walked to downtown,if the weather had permitted.
Here's what I LOVE about this place:- Excellent communication from the owner. Right from the start. Answers questions immediately. Very helpful in recommending area restaurants and anything else you need to know.- Great location. Walkable to Market Square and other downtown attractions. Felt very safe.- Super clean and really cool/cozy/comfy decor- Over the top supplies. Snacks, condiments, coffee, creamers, utensils, bathroom supplies, etc. Over the top!!!- Decent parking- Pet friendly- Easy check in/check out- Great outside deck- Coffee shop/winebar downstairs- Basically EVERYTHING!Here's what I HATE:- Having to give this place a five star review because I really would like to keep this gem a secret! (But I would give it a million stars if I could). Can't wait to stay here again!
Great for a weekend trip for sports event. convenient to downtown, the deck was great for meals ; helpful owner
Some noisy traffic at night but may have related to being St Patrick's day weekend. Great for couples or families with older kids
We stayed 13 nights while visiting our son and his wife. The apartment is in a good location in downtown Roanoke. Very impressed with the host communication. We were not burdened with a long check out list like some other VRBO’s. Just set the heat and lock the door. Really enjoyed our stay.
Nice apartment, exactly as shown in pictures. Perfect for our weekend visit. Plenty of decent restaurants within a short walk or drive. We had one minor issue at the apartment and the owner was very quick to respond. Thanks again, Stephen!
We chose to stay in this location while confirming we want to move to Roanoke. The unit is very clean and nicely stocked with everything you might need. The proximity to downtown is very convenient and there are several venues within in easy walk for food, brews, and even live music. 10/10 would recommend.
My husband and I needed to travel at the last minute due to a family emergency. The host was so responsive, and I can't say enough about the location and comfort of the loft. We would definitely stay again when we return to Roanoke. Thank you again!
we only stayed one night 5pm-6am on a Wednesday). the apartment was clean and there were plenty of amenities. The neighborhood was quiet, but there were still restaurants and bars in the nearby area. There's a perfect view of the Roanoke Star from the rooftop. Downtown was a but sleepy but not dangerous.
This is a great apartment on the second floor of a two-story building a few blocks from downtown. You can drive there in under five minutes or, like my wife and me, walk it in under 15.
The neighborhood feels very safe, and you're just down the block from the police department, in case you'd have any concerns.
The apartment is clean, spacious and bright and includes access to a rooftop patio to enjoy when the weather allows.
If you're coming to the area to hike, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy's regional office is in the same building.
