"Amazing property. Richard was so easy to work with. We had no problems. The cabin is just incredible. Very cozy and comfortable. The views were just amazing. We met a neighbor who was so nice. The butterfly garden was spectacular. I highly recommend. Bedrooms were perfect sized for us."

"Cute little cabin. Very homie with lots of decor making your visit feel more as an experience instead of just a stay. Well stocked with paper goods. Lots of extra small appliances so you can make any type foods you want. Full size appliances that work great. TV. Super comfy bed. Cozy rooms. Big front porch to sit outside and relax. Covered parking. Pet friendly, bring your own poop bags. Ieft some for the next visitor. Great water pressure. Close the the lake and town and only a few minutes from the city. Great places to visit close and local small businesses to see. All around a awesome trip. The only con we had was the noise of hwy 321 which is a main road. Oh yeah, it had big fluffy towels which were great also. Everyone needs to stay here once in their life. Tony was an awesome host and answered all our questions. 9.9 out of 10."

"We had an amazing stay! Chris was an incredibly helpful host and thoughtful from start to finish. He checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and even shared some tips for rainy-day activities ;)The cabin had everything we needed and more! The unique decor was such a fun touch, so many interesting and thoughtful details throughout the space that the decor became a topic of many conversations during our stay. It gave the cabin so much character and made it feel truly one-of-a-kind.The location could not have been more beautiful or perfect. The cabin was about a 30 minute drive to Watauga Lake but was worth it to wake up to the sound of the river every morning! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable getaway."

"My wife and I have friends that live in Elk Park and this was a very convenient location to visit them. We absolutely loved the property, cabin was clean and very unique with its furnishings. Although it rained both days and we could not sit next to the fire we instead sat on the balcony and listened to the rain and the small creek out back. Lots of wildlife to enjoy also. We will definitely put this on our list to reserve in the future when we visit again."

"Elk River Cabin was everything we could have hoped for. The home is beautiful, spacious, and stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The views are breathtaking! It is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. Suzanne and Todd are excellent hosts. Very responsive and kind. We highly recommend!!"

"The house was perfect for our family! We were in town for our nephew’s wedding.. not too far from the event. Some of the skillets in the kitchen need to be thrown away, if cooking for a lot of people, bring some! Plenty of plates, cups and silverware. It was great having some spices to use.. as we forgot ours! Everything in the description was spot on!"
