"Great hotel and onsen, especially for the price. We were assigned one of the 8th floor themed rooms with the Aso bear as decorationβ€”adorable and great room. Room was spacious and beds comfortable. The buffet dinner and breakfast were well worth the price! The kids’ play room was fun; the indoor pool was great (including a sauna at 95 Celsius). We didn’t get a chance to do the regular onsen, but did reserve a private onsen, which was cheap and well worth it if you’re a little uncomfortable otherwise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great for visiting the Aso area as well. 10/10 hotel."
