"Ronnie's place was perfect for a weekend retreat! Our group of 12 fit comfortably in the space and made good use of the pool and jacuzzi. Ronnie was extremely friendly and communicative before and during our quick stay. He was also kind enough to help us set up the jacuzzi at night and even helped make a fire so our group could do s'mores. The property itself was beautiful, and we all wished we were able to make use of it for more than one night. Highly recommend Ronnie as a host and his place for any potential getaway weekends you might want away from the city! My one regret is not having the chance to check out Ronnie and his wife's BBQ restaurant. Hopefully next time!"

"What a wonderful weekend we had in the Summer Kitchen at the Inn & Tavern at Meander. You first enter through the white brick columns and make you way up the driveway to the striking home at the top of the knoll that immediately transports you back in time. Our cottage was used as the kitchen for the main house 200 plus years ago and has been transformed to a well appointed spacious living space with modern conveniences and the most comfortable bed that gave us the best night's sleep. Dinner and breakfast were made order and so delicious. We were greeted on arrival by the general manager Daniel who we had the added bonus of speaking with throughout our stay. He is well versed in the incredible history of the home, grounds and surrounding area and shared some wonderful stories with us. The property is a work in progress which we liked. If you are seeking all modern amenities and everything brand new and posh, this is not the place for you but if you are looking for a tranquil escape from the bustle of city life and a respite in the county, you'll love it here as we did. We truly felt like guests in a friends a home and can't wait to return."

"Came in town for a wedding and had an amazing stay. Recommend anybody that wants to get out of town and come to the beautiful countryside and not too far from DC. I will definitely be back. Pool and restaurant was a nice bonus. "

"The property is in an excellent location and has many facilities including ranger led programs that's great for kids. Staff was very friendly and provided detailed information on any requests/questions. We went on early morning hikes and saw deer running around our cabins. Night star gazing was an excellent activity that we enjoyed as a family. Would love to go back to this property again - thoroughly enjoyed our stay "
