"Our family stayed here while we were in town for a family funeral. The location was perfect and being next to the river created the peacefulness we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and very nice. We will definitely come back here for future stays when we come back home. "

"The Black Hawk Hotel is a favorite of mine. Beautiful rooms with modern bathrooms. And the location on Main Street places you in the midst of a great selection of restaurants and pubs. I will definitely be back when my travels take me back to Cedar Falls. "

We messaged the host about this and didn’t hear anything back, which was disappointing. A simple explanation or brief apology would have been appreciated. "We stayed in this home with family members for Memorial Day weekend. We liked it well enough that we returned with other family members for a fall get away. The house looks new and was very comfortable for 6 adults, 2 tens, and 2 toddlers. The rooms are spacious. The teens enjoyed the large TV in their bedroom. We enjoyed the fire table on the deck, the fire pit with 8 Adirondack chairs, and the hot tub. The fenced yard was good for privacy but also for the toddlers to play outside. It was helpful to have the washer and dryer. The host responded quickly to questions. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is close to Cedar Fall's Main Street with lots of good restaurants and cute shops. "
