Riverview Cabin offers a very unique experience on the James River in remote Columbia, Virginia. Nestled on hundreds of acres, with it's own private James River frontage, you can sit for hours enjoying the scenery, playing in the river, and fishing for small and large mouth bass, catfish, and other prized fresh water fish. Lots of wildlife, a firepit with comfy chairs and front porch rockers. It's everything you're looking for to get away from it all!

Remote and very comfortable
Have quite a long driveway to the cabin. Far in the woods overlooking the river. Peaceful and comfortable cabin it was a nice stay and pet friendly too.

Anniversary weekend retreat
Loved the property! Matresses are FIRM but a small miss that is easily overshadowed by the beautiful view, porch, hottub, bathrooms and the cutest kitchen! We loved watching the trains pass by from across the river! Such a sweet surprise!

The house was very up to date, clean and directions were easy to follow to find it. There are no closets and towels/sheets are not provided, so something to be aware of. Host was very responsive and helpful. View was beautiful and hot tub was lovely. If you are looking for a very secluded place with a nice view, but updated kitchen/TVs this place is great!

Riverview Cabin
Riverview Cabin is set high up on a hillside above the James River. This rental had a beautiful view of the river and was very secluded and quiet. We had our family gathering here and wanted to do a lot of fishing since we all love to fish. The cabin was very clean and stocked well with most kitchen appliances. Coffee maker didn't work but there was a Keurig that did. Loved the quiet this location afforded. If you choose Riverview Cabin, you must have an SUV to get up to it as the driveway is very very long and bumpy. Also, the path down to the water is very steep and difficult to get back up if you are elderly or have young children. The rock on the landing is not flat but jagged so wear good sneakers. The best thing about this rental was the peace,quiet and seclusion. We all enjoyed our stay.
