"We had the best time! So many deer and fireflies in the yard. Went tubing down the river, swam in the pool, fished and caught catfish, did smores at the fire pit, soaked in the hot tub. Best summer cabin and beautiful area. Great host!"

"Very clean, comfortable and spacious cabin. Enjoyed the pool down the hill, hiking at Carter’s Lake, shopping in Blue Ridge and Ellijay, and watching the deer from the porch. We also made a visit to the Big Foot museum! My family really loved the fire pit area surrounded by beautiful trees. Great communication with our host!"

"Views of the river and the screened in porch was amazing. Property is quiet. It’s an older property but was nice. Needs some TLC. If you are looking for a 5 star, this is not your place. If you are looking for a great vacation place and cozy this is your place. I’ll be booking here again in a few months. FYI, we had some bad weather Tuesday nite and a tree fell up by the entrance so the power was off at the gate entrance. My brother and nephew could not get into the property for about 8 hours. They had to sit in the vehicle at the gate until 5 am.. no other way in evidently. Just wanted to give a heads up so be prepared if staying at the Coosawattee River resort. Other than that we had a blast."

"We had a great stay here for our family spring break! We have 3 young kids and they all had an amazing time. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and the beds were super comfortable. Check-in was seamless. We loved sipping coffee on the back deck and took advantage of the hot tub almost every day. We appreciated the games provided (though one of the puzzles we attempted did have several missing pieces), and loved having the trekking poles available for hikes.We had a blast at the rec center and loved that everything was included. We played mini golf and basketball, and spent a lot of time at the pool, which was huge and warm. It is a pretty far drive within the resort itself and we knew that going in, but still wish it had been slightly closer to some of the amenities.A couple things worth noting that others have mentioned: the walk down to the river is pretty steep, and there are definitely some winding, steep mountain roads getting around the resort, so just something to keep in mind if that makes you uncomfortable.The location was great, giving us a nice mix of adventure and downtime during our stay. We explored downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge, did some hiking, went to the dive-in, took a day trip to Six Flags, and also spent slower days enjoying the amenities, fishing at the parks in the resort, and relaxing at the cabin.Overall, we would definitely recommend this place. It was exactly the slow-down, nature-filled spring break our family needed!"

"Beautiful Cabin, our family of 10 and 2 golden retrievers had more than enough space and some to spare. The rooms were spacious and the 3 1/2 bathrooms were great and made getting ready for everyone fast. 15 minutes from Walmart and 20 minutes from downtown. Easy to get too also,( no snow or ice this trip). Deer everywhere on the property and the bonfire’s on the deck were incredible.Thanks everyone!!!!!!!"
