Pets allowed Beach Villa 2

The Beach Villas are within a short walk of all facilites at Riversdale Beach. Take a stroll along the four kilometre sandy beach, swim, surf, fish or just chill out, it's up to you!! There is a nine hole golf course just down the road, or hire the tennis courts for a game. Meals are available on Friday nights at the club and everyone is welcome. The local store sells all the essentials, as well as fishing gear, takeaways and great coffee.

The Unit is fully fenced to make it a safe holiday for you, your children and pets. If bringing your pets please bring their own beds and clean up after them.

Riversdale Beach is a great place to base yourself, while you take short day trips to enjoy some of the other attractions available within the area, such as; Castlepoint, the local vineyards, shopping, a visit to Pukaha Mount Bruce Bird Reserve etc.

Great little flat

Fabulous relaxing get-away

We had a great time - the house is super and the location is great for walks to the beach and around the village. It's the perfect place to take your dog with a very safe fully fenced garden. We have stayed several times and are never disappointed.

The property was clean and had the facilities to be able to cook a roast meal, plenty of room for the two of us. Pleasant weekend stay helped by great weather in Riversdale.

Lovely stay

This place was clean and tidy. Completely fenced so our small dog could be outside without worrying. The place is great value for money. Nice and quiet. The beach is an easy walk from here .

Lovely location

A really cute place and the area around is lovely! There is only one convenient store, so would be good to give people a heads up to bring extra food. But so cool to see people riding around on quad bikes and family orientated area.

Beautiful spot

Beautiful location and this home is nice and close to everything. The air con from the heat pump was much appreciated on the hot summer days. This house is pretty basic, nothing flash but had everything we needed.

We had a fleeting visit to the stunning Riversdale for a wedding, this place was a perfect spot for the night. Simple, clean and very accessible. Communication was spot on, and very accommodating when I asked if we could check in earlier!

Overall, the property was as advertised. Everything was clean and tidy and the property was well fenced for the dogs. The only thing was that some of the kitchen pots/pans really need to be upgraded and there was only one wine glass in the whole property. Other than that, it was very enjoyable

nice but could improve on cleanliness

It is nice to have somewhere affordable to take your pets, however the overall cleanliness of the property could have been much better. Surfaces and linen were clean but the tops of walls were covered in cobwebs and inside of the cupboards and the dishes were left a little grubby - so needed re-washing before we could use. Overall, the place was nice - but would have wanted it a little cleaner to stay again.

Great location but could use some improvements

This property is in a lovely location and it’s great that it’s pet friendly, however, there were dog hairs all over the carpet and furniture. I think the property could use a good vacuum cleaner left on site as we tried the one there but it wasn’t very effective. One of the dining room chairs was also broken when we got there. While there is a good sized outdoor space it is incredibly bare and feels pretty unloved. Beds were comfy and kitchen facilities were good.

special treat after illness

Disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit, had to wash all kitchen equipment including crockery and utensils, mice droppings all through cupboards and under microwave, in broom closet. Vacuum Cleaner so clogged up had to use screwdriver to disperse before could use it. Unit could do with good spring clean, bed linen clean and beds very comfortable.

Needs update

The place needs an up grade,we arrived after traveling all day to find no coffee or sugar, we spent 2 nights with the next door flat so noisy as wall were to thin had to tell them to keep it down,went to do washing an empty box where powder should be ,got the machine to work we though it was going to take off through the roof ,so we though couldn't get any worse we thought lets cook on the barbecue, couldn't get that to work never mind the bottle was empty remembering we nearly an hour away from masterton oh the shower pressure was so bad we waited to get home to wash our hair.want be staying again...oh the dogs loved the beach
