Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca

Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca

8/10 Good
"Hampton by Hilton is a modern, relatively new hotel situated within walking distance from the city center. The room was spacious and clean. The mattress was medium firm. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was adequate. Parking costs 60 RON per night. The only thing I missed was a shoehorn in the room. When I mentioned this at reception they did not bother. All other staff were welcoming and helpful. No restaurant on premises but there is one really close, with decent food and good service. I recommend using taxis throughout Cluj/Kolozsvár; they are really cheap and fast."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Risca?
The best area to stay in Risca is around the village centre, particularly near the main road, DJ103K, for convenient access to amenities and the surrounding natural beauty.

This area offers a pleasant balance of local life and access to the region's attractions. You'll find a few local shops, eateries, and guesthouses dotted along or just off DJ103K, which is the primary route through the village. The layout is quite linear, following the road, with houses and small farms extending into the hills.

For couples looking for a peaceful escape, staying in a guesthouse just outside the immediate village centre offers a lovely experience. These accommodations often provide stunning views of the Apuseni Mountains and the opportunity to enjoy quiet walks through the countryside. It's an ideal base for exploring the nearby Scarisoara Ice Cave or enjoying the natural surroundings.

Families will appreciate the practicality of staying closer to the village centre. This provides easier access to local shops for essentials and a more settled environment.
When is the best time to go to Risca?
The best time to visit Risca is typically during the late spring, from May to June, and early autumn, from September to October.

These months offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the natural beauty of the region. You'll avoid the peak heat of summer and the colder, potentially snowy conditions of winter, making it great for those who enjoy hiking or simply taking in the scenery.

For couples looking for a romantic and tranquil escape, these shoulder seasons provide a more serene experience, with fewer crowds at popular spots like the nearby Apuseni Mountains.
