"Great stay! Comfortable beds, clean room. Highly recommend La Cueva Mexican restaurant very close by, not your usual national park fare. Everything was delicious. The hotel was a pleasant respite after a long day of hiking and we slept well. Price was high to us but overall we were ok to pay for what we got. "
"The breakfast was great especially the coffee and flapjacks!
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room was very clean, comfortable and roomy. The beds and pillows are very comfortable.
There is so much light at night tho. We kept the bathroom door closed and there's lots of light coming in from the outside overhead lights. Maybe install less wattage lights outside?
It was darker in the room during the day than at night.
Overall we had a great time and would recommend The Broken Spur for good sleep. It's 10 min away from the Capitol Reef entrance.

"We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin. It had everything we could have wanted in it to make our stay comfortable. It was extremely clean . The view from our cabin was amazing. Loved the porch with table and chairs. There was also a picnic table . The office staff was very friendly. A restaurant was also on the property which made it very convenient. We definitely recommend it! "
"The entire place was very clean, breakfast was great, posted on the wall each day what the next day’s breakfast would be. Owner took us on a ranger ride one evening, very informative and fun! Beautiful scenery!"
"The cabin felt very private and secluded in a beautiful, serene setting. We loved the amenities and attention to decorating the place with art, plants, and soft fabrics. The host was very communicative and we felt safe and cared for."
"This was a great stay. After a visit to Moab, getting away from the tourist craziness was a welcome change. The house was fully equipped, clean and perfectly situated for day trips to Canyonlands and Bryce. Each evening was made complete by a visit to sunset pointe and unlimited stargazing. This place made our first trip to this area very memorable! Thanks!!"
