Loved our stay

Our family stayed 3 nights and loved how clean and spacious the house is. We had 5 adults and it was super comfortable. We drove to the redwoods and visited surrounding towns for dinner and drinks!

Fall getaway

Really enjoyed our stay and found that the unit lived up to its’ listing. Close to everything yet far enough away for the privacy and views you want. Would highly recommend staying here and the goats, horse and dog are an added bonus!

Beautiful and unique!

We loved our stay at the Rio Dell farmhouse property. We used this as our home base for exploring the Redwood Forests both in Humboldt State Park and to the north along the coast and the location was great base! We didn't find much in the way of dining out options close by - but stocked up and groceries for breakfast, dinner and picnic lunches.

This house had everything we could ask for - privacy, cleanliness, stocked bathrooms and kitchen, and the view was outstanding. Communication with the host was prompt and always helpful. This place is a must-stay if you’re in the area!!

Peaceful Bliss

We did not require anything after booking. Check in process was smooth. The directions were clear and very easy to follow. The property was very clean, everything we needed for our few day stay was there. The view was great. My girls loved that their room had a balcony. We drove up toward Eureka to explore and just had a great time.

Great view and generally matched the description. Would’ve liked to have the grill as an option. Pretty clean and nice furnishings. Loved having the animals close by to visit. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

What a special property! The house was spotless. The beds were comfortable. The view is incredible. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with the basics. The attention to detail in design and amenities is 5 star. The surrounding land is gorgeous. We would stay again and highly recommend this special vacation rental.

Wonderful Stylish Pet Friendly House with a view!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the farm on top of a hill. The view is unforgettable. The horse next door is friendly too. Very stylish and new. Comfortable beds. Every detail was well thought out from the kitchen organization to the stocked coffee area. This was home base for everything Humboldt could offer, including beaches, redwoods, and good Pizza in Eureka. We will be back for sure!

This place is a gem. Panoramic views, total quiet on its own hilltop, with porches all around and an outside soaking tub. Inside it’s brand new, well designed, fully equipped, with a main floor kitchen/bar/dining/living space centered on a TV and has fireplace. Easy inside and outside access to 2 second floor bedrooms each with their own porch, TV, and storage spaces. Easy drive to local towns, with major supermarket and chain eateries a short drive away if you need them. But mostly this place is about being as close to the redwoods as you can get and still have all the amenities and a new home to stay in. It’s the kind of place once you find you will make up reasons to come back to.

Perfect spot for a quick getaway

My friends and I have a little book club and wanted to do a quick girls trip to relax and enjoy the cooler weather. This place was amazing. It was clean, it was comfortable. We loved all the windows and doors. The views were gorgeous and we loved all the farm animals and wildlife we came cross in our short time there. It was perfectly located to visit the Redwoods, Eureka, and beautiful beaches. They had all the amenities in the house you may need for a trip away. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash. We LOVED the fireplace, it was easy to use and was so cozy for our movie night. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking in the area.
