    The house features high ceilings that give it a fresh and open feeling. The living areas, kitchen, and dining spaces are very well appointed with all new fixtures, furniture, and appliances, providing the best getaway for a family trip or an adventure with your friends. Gather in the living area and wind down while planning tomorrow`s adventures and the six-person, saltwater hot tub has your back!

    This home features 2 queen bedrooms with shared bath and king bedroom with TV and private bath. Upstairs loft has TV and Wii, desk and chair. Beautiful backyard patio and BBQ area. All bedrooms are on the ground floor.

    Guests have access to entire property.

    Manager information will be listed at the home.

    Hot tub instructions need to be followed. Hot tub is clean and sanitized for your enjoyment. Hot tub shall be used in accordance of the posted rules at the house. If these rules are not abided and the hot tub needs to be drained and filled due to failure to comply with the rules, a $100 fee will be charged to the Guest.

    This rental is managed by Redwood Travels.
    A separate Redwood Travels Rental Agreement will need to be signed at the time of booking.

Beautiful stay

We stayed a couple nights so that we had a great landing place after exploring the redwoods for a few days. The home is immaculate and I could sit in the backyard for hours with the gorgeous landscaping! Comfy beds and wonderful to be able to do some laundry!

A beautiful house!

We totally enjoyed this place! Clean and comfortable house set on a cliff overlooking the Eel River in Rio Del. A small group of tall redwoods tower in the back yard, over a landscaped area with a walk path down to the fence where you can sit in the chairs and gaze down the cliff to the river. We spent a lot of the time in the 4 person hot tub! A lot of extra amenities and did i say clean?

Very cute, comfortable house. The hot tub was great. We had room for the whole family. There wasn’t A/C but it wasn’t a problem even on the hottest days. The house was well taken care of, nestled on an overlook of the river. The place didn’t disappoint. Rio Del was much smaller than I had thought, with not many options. We stayed for a hike and were able to do that from here just fine. Overall I loved the house and would stay here again, but Rio Del was a bit too small for me, but maybe not for others.

Amazing house!

When we first walked through the door, my husband and I were greeted with the cleanest, nicest-smelling vacation rental we’re ever stayed in. We both thought it was like walking into a staged real estate showing or a model home. Inside and outside both exceeded our expectations, the view from the back yard is incredible! We had a group of 5 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. We liked having the large seating areas and well-appointed kitchen to cook and hang out in. I was also pleased to find a Level 2 EV charger within easy walking distance so we were able to conveniently charge our car during our stay. The only negative part of our experience was with the bed in the master bedroom. It seemed like there was a super-thick memory foam pad on top of the mattress which made it hard to even get into the bed (because it was so high). We had a hard time sleeping due to the foam being so hot and uncomfortable, and both ended up with back and shoulder pain that lasted for a few days after returning home. I would definitely stay at this rental again, but next time I’d try one of the other beds or even try sleeping on the sofa.

Outstanding property and the host was most helpful in providing extra details on local things to do and see. She was also extremely understanding when we overslept on checkout day and needed a touch of extra time. Have already recommended to friends in family if they're ever in the area.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable home with backyard sitting area overlooking the river. One morning we enjoyed seeing a deer walking by on the other side of the wire fence which separated the backyard from the edge of the cliff overlooking the river. Home is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay there. Short drive to hikes within the Humboldt Redwoods State Park, and easy day trips to Ferndale and Eureka. Great communication with host who was easy to reach and responded quickly to our questions.
