"The property is very new, but we believe that they are falling behind on maintenance and cleaning. My wife noted that the floors were dirty, something that had to be pointed out to me. The breakfast is a bread basket with instant coffee that doesn’t arrive until after 8:30am (earliest). We chose the location BC breakfast was included. "The staff here are outstanding. We arrived during heavy rain and had booked a glamping room which is not connected to the main hotel. We were offered a chance to stay inside the hotel if we preferred, at the same price. "The hotel is perfectly situated for amazing lake views. The staff is friendly, breakfast was very tasty, and the rooms are comfy and cozy. The reason it's not a 5-star review is (1) they failed to service our room one of the three days we were there and (2) there were some condition issues of the hotel grounds - the hot tub was questionable at best and the dock on the lake was dangerously weathered. "Typical wooden structure for this area, pleasant gardens, heated pool, spacious room: we had booked a twin and got a family room. A more interesting breakfast than most places we have stayed. Good value evening meal deal on offer. As it would have been a trek along the dirt road into town, we were glad of this opportunity. The staff were very pleasant though little English was spoken. My fault for not learning more Spanish! I was backpacking with my daughter so this was a little more upmarket...
