Top Rio Celeste Hotel Reviews

Yarumo Lodge Río Celeste Black Chalets

10/10 Excellent

"This place was really perfect for me and my son. The location is on the mountain but not far off the road so you get peace and also some wildlife sounds. Everything was so clean and comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking supplies which was a relief after having to eat out so often. I would definitely stay here again"

Lost Iguana Resort and Spa

8/10 Good

"Views are beyond beautiful! Property was very clean. Staff, specially the ones in restaurant and lounge area, were extremely friendly and full of suggestions. Breakfast options were VERY limited for someone with egg allergies. Unfortunately there was an issue with plumbing and we didn’t have water the entire last night/morning we were there. Not being able to shower after being in the pool and having to travel all day the next day was quite inconvenient."

Simply the best, incredible views, pool, breakfast and a friend in the area!

10/10 Excellent

"Patrick was helpful all along the way from when we booked the trip all the way to the end of it. He answered all our questions and was also very hands on with scheduling our activities according to what everyone in the group was interested in and grouping things together that were in the same area. He had important advice on which activities you’d need a break after or what order to do them in. The breakfast was amazing! And the smoothies! He was really good at suggesting local food places for the other meals. He was also able to arrange a driver and coordinate our pickup times. It’s nice that each room has its own bathroom and shower and each room has its own AC for different temperatures. I recommend bringing eye masks for early morning sunlight around 5 am - or you can get up early and see the beautiful sunrise and try to glimpse the volcano. The pool house is nice and has a hot tub which was perfect after adventuring all day. Cell phone service and WiFi work fine. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was doing ok and things were going smoothly. (Doesn’t pertain to the house, but do bring dramamine if you’re sensitive to curvy roads and I do recommend having him arrange a driver to kick back and enjoy vacation.)"
