The Space:

Ocean Edge Villa offers the perfect retreat to relax and soak in the beauty of our island. This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment is located in Rincón, a laid-back coastal town renowned for its world-class surfing, stunning sunsets, beautiful beaches, and vibrant arts and culinary scene. Ocean Edge Villa offers beautiful ocean views and is a short 5-minute ride to the beach. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area with flat-screen TV, and a private balcony overlooking the water. T



he apartment comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests and has a washer and dryer for your convenience.





LIVING AREA



Enter Ocean Edge Villa and you are greeted by the living area with a cozy sofa and armchair, and a flat screen TV to enjoy your favorite shows. The living area has air conditioning to keep things nice and cool. Past the living area, you have a cozy balcony with two rocking chairs ideal to relax and enjoy the ocean views.





SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



There are two bedrooms at Ocean Edge Villa . The master bedroom has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have closets, nightstands, blackout window treatments, and air conditioning. Th master bedroom has an flat screen TV.



PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





KITCHEN



Ocean Edge Villa has a spacious and fully equipped kitchen that is completely equipped for an extended stay. The kitchen is features a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, and toaster.





GETTING AROUND & PARKING



We strongly recommend renting a car, as there are a multitude of activities within a 15-30-minute drive that you will not want to miss out on. Also, Uber is not readily available in the area, which is why it's important to have your own means of transportation.



The villa includes one (1) assigned parking spot.





LOCATION



There are many things to do in Rincón, Puerto Rico. This part of the island is best known as "The town of beautiful sunsets." Staying at Rincón you will enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, delicious restaurants, and great surfing beaches.



Here are some of our favorite things to do:



Explore the large selection of local restaurants. Some of our favorites include The English Rose, La Cambija, Carta Buena, Kaplash, El Tamboo Beside the Point, The Beach House, and La Copa Llena. Check out a new restaurant called La Serina, a great Tiki bar and sushi bar located downtown.

Relax at the Balneario de Rincon.

Enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner at La Copa Llena.

Visit the local beaches like Steps, Maria's Beach, Sandy Beach, Domes Beach, and Corcega.

Take a picture of the beautiful "El Faro Lighthouse" at Punta Higuero.

Watch an afternoon of surfing at Marías Beach and stop for a drink at the Calypso Bar which is right by the beach.

Take a paddle-board tour with the folks at Rincon Paddle Boards.

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

We enjoyed the condo very. much. It was new and clean and had everything we wanted for our comfort. Rut R. was who we communicated with for questions that came up and he responded very quickly and took great care of us!

Beautiful views

The property was lovely. Only 1 drawback was it was not feasible to walk to the town square even though it was just a half mile. Route 115 too busy to feel comfortable walking. No quibbles with the property owner, just a rookie mistake on our part. We loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the surf.

Location was verv good. Ocean view was great. 4 minute walk to the beach, easy drive to stores and the plaza. The bed in the master bedroom is comfortable. (We didn’t use the other bed.) The kitchen was well stocked. We had no issues with directions and lockbox check-in. Use of beach chairs, umbrella were a plus. The host was very helpful and attentive. appreciateAiconditiontheappreciated. (Fans in the living area were a help.

Great view and lovely place to take it in

This complex was lovely, and especially geared for those that want to stay in and or vacation by car. The place had everything we could need (including a soft-sided cooler that we used a ton, thanks!) but the location relative to other amenities was a little less desirable than some others. You can walk to the grocery store from here, and the beach, but they are both a bit of a haul. Again, this place is in a BEAUTIFUL location and it makes for some amazing porch cocktails at sunset. *heart* Only warning, when we were there the bug screens - which were awesome - had a bit of a flim of debris on them making the view not quite as crystal clear as the images. But I think it'd be hard to be sad about the view otherwise. Also, the host was fairly responsive and kept us in the loop when the power went out one afternoon.While I will probably not return because of my own unique objectives, I'd highly recommend this property for the right group.
