About this property

Cozy Retreat Near the Creek | Fall Colors, Wine Country & Holidays

  • Heartstone Retreat is your cozy Verde Valley escape—tucked into a peaceful corner of Rimrock near Beaver Creek, Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, and Arizona wine country. With warm stone walls, soaring wood ceilings, mature trees, and authentic cabin character, this inviting home is especially beautiful during Northern Arizona’s fall and holiday season.

Fall Colors, Cool Mornings & Cozy Evenings

Autumn is one of the best times to experience the Verde Valley. Wake to crisp mornings and coffee from the rocking chair on the front porch, then wander down the nearby path toward Beaver Creek and the Verde River corridor—less than a five-minute walk from the home.

Spend the day exploring Sedona’s red rock trails, following the changing leaves through Oak Creek Canyon, visiting local wineries and tasting rooms, or discovering the small towns of the Verde Valley. Then come home to Heartstone Retreat, where thick stone walls, peaked wood ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and the striking double-sided stone fireplace create the feeling of a true Northern Arizona cabin retreat.

A Welcoming Home for the Holidays

Heartstone is a wonderful gathering place for Thanksgiving, Christmas, winter weekends, and family getaways. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare favorite holiday meals, while the dining table expands to seat up to six for dinner, games, wine nights, and lingering conversations.

After dinner, settle into the living room for a movie or game night, or step outside beneath the clear Arizona sky for some of the Verde Valley’s beautiful stargazing.

The home comfortably accommodates couples, families, friends, and small groups with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms:

    • Primary Bedroom – Queen
    • Second Bedroom – Queen
    • Third Bedroom – Twin trundle

Fast WiFi makes it easy to extend your getaway with a remote-work day or two, while Smart TVs with Roku in two bedrooms and an all-in-one washer/dryer add convenience for longer stays.

    Bring Your Dog Along

Heartstone Retreat is pet-friendly with approval and a pet fee, so your four-legged family member doesn’t have to miss the holiday adventure. Nearby walking paths and the creek and river corridor make this an especially enjoyable location for guests traveling with dogs.

    Explore the Verde Valley

Heartstone puts you close to some of Northern Arizona’s best fall and winter experiences while giving you a peaceful place to escape the busier tourist areas.

Walk toward Beaver Creek in the morning, hike among Sedona’s red rocks, spend an afternoon wine tasting in Cottonwood, explore historic Jerome, or take a scenic drive through Oak Creek Canyon. At the end of the day, return to the quiet of Rimrock and relax beneath the stars.

The cabin was super clean and cute! It was well stocked with everything we could have needed! The neighborhood was quiet and a short walk to the creek. My pup would have benefited from bringing dog paw booties, as the area does have “goat head” weeds, and the seed-heads were a pain to navigate around in the yard and the creek path.
