Welcome to Sundance! Located on 54 acres along the historic Shenandoah River, Sundance offers you a place to return to the simpler times in life.

Wonderful Stay!

The cabin was simple yet very cozy! We loved how private the area was! The views off the balcony were stunning! During the day you have a beautiful view of the mountains and at night the you had a beautiful view of the stars! We also loved how we could see the view while sitting in the hot tub. We even had a deer come and visit us! I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone! We had a very nice time!

Honeymoon for the books!

My wife and I stayed at Sundance for our honeymoon in June 2024. Everything was perfect from checkin to check out. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay and definitely plan to revisit as soon as we can. Highly recommend stays here!

It’s All About the View

Sundance had everything we needed for an escape from the madness. The view from the deck was particularly nice … next time we’ll try to book during a new moon to better enjoy the stars!

Perfect!

"Sundance" was perfect for our long weekend with the dogs. The space was super clean and the view was fabulous! It was nice to walk down to the river and chill in hot tub to take in the mountain views and the sunset. The power went out for a little bit on one of the days were there, and the owners were very responsive. We can't wait to visit again!

A perfect relaxing retreat

My sister and I had a wonderful visit to the Sundance cabin. After spending the day at the Caverns and hiking it was a treat to come back to the spotless cabin and relax in the hot tub. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful to walk around in. We sat by the river for what seems like hours. We would highly recommend this home, the host and their other cabins we saw!

A real getaway spot

The views were beautiful. Of course, we tried out the hot tub and enjoyed it. As usual, we didn't cook in, with all the neat local spots to eat, but the kitchen was fully ready. We traveled with a pet, which was welcome on the property, and a big plus in our selection. If we return we will try to spend some time on the water, which looked pretty inviting.

Loved It!

I was very much impressed by the experience we got during our 3 night stay at Sundance. The Cabin had just about everything we needed and was well kept. The bed was comfortable and the shower design was really nice. I don’t think you can find better views than what you’ll find at Sundance. It was a awesome retreat from the hustle and bustle of 9-5 office work. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be coming back again!

Secluded with a beautiful view of the valley at 781 feet up. Has everything you need to cook, decent portable stereo, tv. Reliable wifi. Lovely deck with hot tub. I will come back with my fishing pole in the summer to take advantage of the river access, a 1/2 mile walk from the cabin.

National Park Getaway

We stayed 2 night in mid April.We spent 2 days hiking the park. The location of the property was perfect for proximity to the park. We were traveling with our dog and there was plenty of room for him to run around. Be sure to take a stroll down to the river (wonderful bonus)! The views and the deck can’t be beat. We spent most of the time outside on the deck and in the hot tub (which was such a treat post trail hikes). It’s about 15 minutes to Luray where we grabbed dinner one night and hit the Hawksbill Brewery as well. Highly recommend this spot for a secluded getaway.

Sundance is awesome

We absolutely loved the cabin/home, the location was perfect, the River Walk through the woods and meadows was serene, the quiet at night, beautiful sunsets, cozy fire pit, and super clean hot tub were just a few of the amenities. We worked remotely so needed reliable internet…it was reliable. Used the Netflix, reviewed the folder of brochures, loved the extra lock box for the second key, and appreciated the hot water temperature to take a relaxing shower. 5 stars all around!

Quite the getaway!

The pictures of this property do not do justice to how wonderful this property is! Clean, well-appointed, and the location is great! Unfortunately, we stayed the weekend of Ophelia, so the weather left much to be desired. We are planning on another visit so we can see more of the beauty of the Shenandoah valley. Really appreciated the receiver with Bluetooth. Just connected my phone, and had Spotify all weekend. The hot tub was great. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive! Highly recommend this property!
