"Excellent value for money. Hotel is simple, just 28 rooms but comfortable (air conditioning and full bathroom), the buffet breakfast is not fancy but very affordable. Personnel is extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant is outstanding for dinner al fresco and the quaint Mirepoix historical center is within 5 minutes walk. I had a wonderfdul 3 nights and used the hotel as my base camp to visit Pyrenees and cathare country"

"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."

Good location but very basic rooms and high price compared to other nearby properties. We rented relatively last minute and it was one of our few available options...."

"We had a highly enjoyable stay at Jean-Pierre and Basanti's place. They have almost singlehandedly created a little oasis of calm in the hills, right down to planting all the grass, trees, vegetables and plants on the property; as well as building both houses!It was more like being hosted by family than a commercial transaction. As well as being on-hand to make sure we had everything we needed, the hosts were incredibly tolerant and welcoming of our children wanting to run around, explore, and participate in their outdoor work.Other reviewers noted the pool is a short walk from the house. This is a definite plus with small children.We'd definitely stay agin."
