Great Experience!
This was our first VRBO experience and it was wonderful! The property was perfect for our family. Location was fantastic to get to wherever we needed to go. The home was very clean and organized. The items needed to cook were all there. The views were beautiful!

Another AWESOME trip!
This was our second stay at the property. It is PERFECT for a 2 family group. The location could not be better. The drive from the Log Hill community down the mountain may offer the prettiest view in Colorado…no joke. It’s a full 180+ degrees of the Sneffels Range of the San Juan Mountains. Hope to return in the summer to take advantage of the homes proximity to Ouray, Telluride, etc, for warm weather outdoor fun.

Avoid if you don't like perfume smell
The place had a perfume smell that was so strong that I got a terrible headache. We had to cut our 3 day stay short and leave early the next morning because of this. I right away called Lisa the owner and she refused to give us credit for the 2 unused days. In fact, she was extremely rude, swore at me, and said I was lying! We now have taken the matter up with Vrbo. Don't rent if you are susceptible to headaches or don't like strong perfume smells.

We clean the property with brand name cleaning products that many find pleasant. However, I understand that sensitivities vary from individual to individual. I recommend guests who are particularly sensitive to smells or other potential triggers to notify property owners in advance so that accommodations can be made. Regarding the communication you mentioned, I am committed to addressing any issues or concerns with utmost respect and professionalism. I apologize if our conversation did not reflect this, and I assure you it was never our intention to come across as dismissive or rude. Thank you for your feedback. Perfection
Everything about this place was perfect. Hosts made sure we were comfortable and check in was streamlined, location is absolutely perfect, space and parking were way more than enough. I could go on endlessly why this place was 5 star, but I’ll just say it allowed us to give our friends and family the vacation of a lifetime. We will absolutely be back.

Highly recommend!
We loved staying here, it was such a peaceful retreat. The space was exquisite, luxurious even, and well appointed with everything we needed. We were impressed how big the living areas and bedrooms were! The location is a great one for relaxing and taking in some beautiful views - we loved the drive up with the views of the San Juans and the views from some recommended sunset spots as well. The view of the lake from just outside the home is beautiful too. We would highly recommend this home and happily stay here again!

Beautiful secluded getaway, but close to Montrose, Ouray, & Telluride.
We loved everything about the property! Had 2 families, with PLENTY of space and amenities. Beautiful views that are uniquely oriented depending on which level of the home you’re in. Kids loved the awesome sledding hill that is literally 30’ from the front door! Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family!

Great Getaway!
We were able to attend a ceremony in Ouray not far away, but still get away and enjoy the beautiful views that the cabin had to offer. Mike and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we needed it to be. They were also very understanding, helpful, and accommodating when things didn’t go exactly as planned. Fantastic Stay
Our family loved this place. It was the cleanest VRBO place we have stayed at. We liked the fact that it is 2 separate places in one, this allowed my wife and I a quiet place when the kids wanted to stay up late and have fun. It's incredibly peaceful, never heard any traffic noise the whole time we were there. We had a question for the owner while we were their and they responded immediately. We are booking it again next year.

Very nice with great views
This two-unit home was great for our group and our extended family vacation. The large pictures windows in each unit provide very nice views of the reservoir. We enjoyed having dinner one evening and breakfast each morning before we headed out to our adventures around Ridgway and Ouray!

Amazing!

We've stayed here a number of times and it is our favorite place in Ridgway. And we've stayed at other local Vrbos. Close to the reservoir, a great landing point for all sorts of fun. Hikes, hot springs, paddle boards, etc. Very clean! The stars at night are magnificent! Property managers have always been great!

Excellent host!
My family and I came down for our first trip Jeeping in the mountains! This was the perfect place for us because there were 10 of us. Lisa and Mike are excellent hosts too! Our Jeep broke down on the first day and Mike was kind enough to help my husband get it fixed! He even offered to pick up the parts we needed so we wouldn’t have to make the trip to Montrose! Thank you Mike and Lisa so much for your friendly hospitality!

Great Duplex Near Ridgeway
We stayed here a few nights with friends while doing Ride The Rockies. Location feels very secluded with great views of Ridgeway State Park and reservoir. The upstairs and downstairs as two different units worked perfectly as we had one couple with an infant. Listing and photos are very accurate. Clean and cozy!

A Little Piece of Heaven!
Oh those views! The Ridgway/Ouray area is spectacular, and the views from this house did not disappoint! It is not necessary to even leave the property as there is so much to explore. For families with older teens, this property is a must. Our teens enjoyed having their own "house" for sleeping. We adored the picturesque windows that looked like paintings, but our favorite entertainment was sitting on the deck taking in the spectacular view. Upon arrival, the owner greeted us and introduced us to "the sleeping Indian princess" mountain. Lisa filled us in on some "must-sees" in the area and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We so appreciate the hospitality of the owners and their willingness to share their "little piece of Heaven" with others.

New Years 2021 stay
My family (wife and 3 little kids), and my in laws (mom and dad and 2 teenagers) all stayed here for New Years weekend. It was an exceptional stay, wonderful home in a wonderful location. There was plenty of fresh snow around the home for us all to do some awesome snow sledding down the mountain through the trees. What an awesome time with wonderful memories made. Lisa and Mike were wonderful hosts, I would definitely suggest staying I. Their home!

Quiet Hideaway away from the busyness of life!
Mike and Lisa are great owners. They are very responsive and provided detailed information on the property and how to get to it. Our three teenagers enjoyed having their own space and we enjoyed having two balconies to sit and look at the stars at night. Perfect location where we could venture to Ouray and Telluride easily. We hope to be back again soon!

Ridgeway Retreat
The property was in excellent condition. Very clean! Lisa showed us around, and was extremely friendly. Bed was comfortable. We rented the entire house, but our friends couldn’t make it, so never used the upstairs. Based on the questions, the property gets 5 stars, but I would think 4 stars is more appropriate. The downstairs kitchen needs to be redone. There is so much beautiful wasted space to have a sink that a dish won’t fit in, and a drawer-sized dishwasher. No oven/range, just hot plates, and the world’s worst frying pans! Would absolutely return if some of the kitchen issues changed. Day trips to Ouray and Telluride were great, spectacular scenery!

This was the first time we stayed in the upstairs unit but the 3rd time staying overall. As with each time before, very nice, very clean. Wonderful views of the Ridgway reservoir! Mike and Lisa were very responsive with any questions we had and even accommodated us when plans changed and we had to move our visit dates.

First time renters
In summers past we brought our trailer to camp at Ridgway State Park. This was the first time we used VRBO and rented a house. We were in awe. I was even stunned at how well the home was stocked with supplies. We overpacked! But it’s good to know that we can stress less in the future and not bring everything and the kitchen sink. Lisa is so kind and helpful. We really hope for a repeat vacation next summer.

The place was very clean. Gorgeous views outside, and very spacious on the inside. Somehow I missed that the 2 places were separated by stairs that were located outside. So we only ended up staying downstairs. Pretty much everything we needed was downstairs, we couldn't figure out how to use the burner things...so we had to use the stove upstairs. Haha! Overall, wonderful time....nice place to stay-would highly recommend it!!!

Absolutely beautiful!
Perfect getaway for family of 5 + 1 (g-ma) located above Ridgway reservoir. The pictures don't do this place justice. Great view of the mountains from both units. Really spacious and comfortable. We visited both Ouray (30 min drive) and Telluride (1 hr). Highly recommend staying here.
