Find a Great Motel Richmond

"Overall this lodge is great; it worked well for our family reunion. We appreciated the onsite amenities and the spaces including the awesome deck and living room. The kitchen has lots of small appliances and a large fridge and freezer that was plenty of space for our group of 30. Loved the yard with the large weeping willows; throughout the day there was always some shade and some sun available, including at the pool. The lovely river has taller plants along the edge so it is somewhat shielded from runaway volleyballs. It should be noted that the basement (including "captains quarters" and "barracks") has no AC. We had to rearrange who slept in the captains quarters due to varying tolerances to that fact. Those who slept there set up fans in the windows at night and it wasn't bad."

"The room was very clean. It's an older motel, so it "felt" a little old, but everything was clean. The pool was awesome, as was the hot tub. I just wish they had early morning hours..."

"Check in was quick, responses to needs we're efficient, enough towels for the pools and shower. The lifeguards were not friendly at all but we still had a blast at the hot springs and water slides. "

"This is an older family owned hotel. The bathroom is vintage pink tile but is extremely clean. The staff were so kind. An older couple overlooked the hot breakfast. "
