If only the weather had cooperated
The cabin was great but we would not rent again due to no bathroom. We were aware that there would be no bathroom but didn't realize what an inconvenience that would be. The owners were very nice and kept us informed when there was bad weather headed our way.

Very delightful place
My only negative is that the bathroom is in a separate building about 100 feet away. Other than that, it was great. Well stocked kitchen, BBQ burner, comfortable beds, lots of towels, sheet and blankets, loon nesting area nearby, lots of bird songs, swimming beach.

Everything was great. Manda was wonderful to work with, very friendly, accommodating and timely with her replies to my emails. Less than 5 minutes after we arrived the camp hostess greeted us and was so helpful. She checked on us several times (another gentleman that worked/lived there did also) but she was very respectful about it. They only checked on us when we were outside. Manda undersold the cabin and supplies. The cabin has new furniture, very cozy and we could definitely tell it's loved. Not to mention stocked up. I was blown away when we arrived. I had never rented a cabin before so really wasn't sure what to bring. I used her list of things in the cabin as a reference so I knew what was already there. I packed "accordingly" (or so I thought). She has everything in that cabin. As we were leaving to go home I realized I didn't need to bring anything but my clothes and food. The bathroom/shower area was even great. Very clean, private and it had all the amenities too. Shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc. Next time we plan a peaceful, beautiful, get in touch with nature get away...Manda, her cabin and this campground will be without hesitation my first call.

We had the best time. We met the owner & 3 other people who help keep things tidy. Very friendly. We enjoyed ourselves so much we want to go back next year. Going during the week was the best. We pretty much had the place to ourselves.

My Parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary
My husband and I loved our stay at the quiet cottage. It was perfect for having others over for BBQs and S'mores. We also thought it was a relaxing place to fish and read by the water. Looking forward to coming back.

There were three of us for the weekend. The people were great. Very helpful. Unfortunately the cabin was far from comfortable. Please remember this cabin only has a window AC unit that can't do much for the cabin. The furniture is far from comfortable. Two of us slept or attempted to sleep on pull out couches. We probably would have gotten more sleep on the floor. The bathrooms are single stall, one for men, one for women not far away. Small bath house for a large place. Be patient. The cabin is tiny and rough. Needs new furniture. The freezer can't freeze anything. Lines at the bathroom. Overall this place was terribly overpriced. We will not be back.

We are sorry that you were disappointed in your stay and found the $99 weekend rate too high. The cabin is just as described- RUSTIC, clean and with pull-out couches and some brand new appliances and new full-sized bed. Please know that for some reason the freezer was turned off, but is working well now and that we do hope to upgrade the sofa couches one day soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cozy, clean, friendly, accomodating! Just amazing little property! Only down side is how far away from a grocery store it is, but really excellent location and people! There is a bar on site, docks for boats and fishing. Primarily an RV park, but really great stay! Would love to come back!

Nice quiet getaway
I stayed five nights. Cabin was as advertised. Small family oriented campground. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Pat and Gloria let me use the golf cart whenever I needed it which helped me get around as I am handicapped. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Just what we were looking for!
Cabin 1 is small, charming and comfortable. Felt like a throwback to modest family cabins from when I was a kid. Bath house was clean and nearby. Everyone at Twilight Acres was super friendly and welcoming. Loved it!

Good Experience
Pat & his staff were friendly and very helpful. Cabin was great for a solo fishing trip. Pat helped me launch boat, gave me fishing spot tips and even sent me off with his leftover leeches! A hard working guy & fun to talk to. Cabin is rustic, clean and had everything I needed. Met a nice group of people that have been going there for years.

Sweet little stay
We stayed at this little cottage by the lake while visiting family and friends. It's a nice quiet peaceful place to stay in the off-season that we were in. If you are someone who likes the countryside and peace; this is it. We enjoyed our visit. The cottage has most everything you need. It was nice because you don't have to bring any bedding, or towels and it has all the cooking pots, utensils, plates, bowls, cups and much more.

We enjoyed our stay! The owners are friendly and accommodating. It was clean and very organized. The kitchen was stocked and there was even coffee with the coffee maker! This is not a luxury cabin, but we are used to tent camping so it’s a step up for us. The bathrooms were clean and within a normal walking distance. The property and beach were clean. Such a beautiful area! We found lots to do in the neighboring towns. Definitely recommend!

All in all a great time.
Had a great time. Very friendly and inviting people. Nice beach for swimming and caught sunfish and bass right off the dock. Beautiful sunsets. Can't wait to stay there again.

What a fantastic weekend!! The cabin was very clean and cozy, the campground is clean, peaceful, and very welcoming. The owner Pat was amazing! Kind, friendly and very helpful. Introduced himself right away and made sure we didn't want for anything. This is a wonderful vacation place. Very family friendly, and you can't beat the location. We will definitely be coming back. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway look no further.
