"We only had electricity in one or two lamps our entire weekend, whether load shedding was on or off. Even when we heard the generator running, will still didn’t have lights, kettle, etc. We still had lovely hot water, so it was all a bit strange. Thank goodness for a lovely fire and early nights."

"My first 2 days were double booked so they moved me to another guest house, which was actually good but I had to go back to Eagle for breakfast!! On day 3 they put me in room 1. It was very large with a comfortable bed, however 1. The safe was broken 2. There was no plug in the bath. They said there was a water shortage. Eventually, the next day I got a plug. Their pool was "green" and unusable. The TV did not work. They changed it twice but I never got to see a program. When they finally said...
