Nice place would stay again. Bed was a bit hard but thats a personnel thing. Staff easy to talk too

We at the Cattleman's Rest are surprised we didn't get a 1 out of 10. The fact is that Bruce never stayed at our motel. He booked and never showed up. We did charge him so that's why Bruce is upset. Karen , sorry Bruce obviously thinks he doesn't have to pay if he doesn't show up. Wrong Bruce

Good place to stay. Restaurant advertised wasn't operating, which was inconvenient given location. Web sites should be updated to show that such facilities are not available!

Had to clean aircon filters myself just so the air-conditioning would work properly, any cleaner should know to check aircon filters on there weekly or daily clean, they were full of dust and the aircon worked much better after they were cleaned.

Hello Steve, Those rooms are set for renovation after winter. We will replace the aircons then.

Lisa made a booking with Hotels.com but got the date wrong. She was a week early. When she turned up we didn't have her room but we found her a room. All we had were the very basic rooms left. If Lisa is a little miffed maybe she should look inwards for an answer.

Paul stayed with us 1 year ago (29/12/22) and now he reviews us. I feel sorry for Paul as he obviously has some memory problems. I hope Paul is accessing help to overcome his issues. (That's not true, I don't even remotely care what happens to Paul)

Cattlemans Rest
An overnight stay as part of an extended road trip. Quiet location, but disappointed that there was insufficient on-site parking available.

here for a week had to remind them to replace towels and soap. pay rent for a toaster no cutlery or plates. international roast coffee. more units than car parks had to park on street.
