The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The property is beautiful, with fresh fruit trees in abundance! There were also several very friendly cats and dogs roaming around :)

What a GREAT surprise. No regular Motel experience here. Like staying in your Grandma's House. Everyone staying has a place set for Breakfast. Great Conversation and trip discusions. Breakfast is all local sourced, really good! Yogurts.Jambs, Breads, Fruits, eggs. and coffee your way! I met all German people and had a great time. Did a local hike with the owner and some guests. This was a great start to a wonderfull trip!

Homely, relaxed orchard stay

We had a lovely stay at Quinta Minuvida in the pool house. The place was comfortable, well equipped and peaceful. The place is surrounded by gorgeous plants and orchards (bananas, guavas, avocados etc). Chill by the pool, relax in a hammock, join a yoga class, pick some fruit in the orchard, star gaze with a glass of wine on the observatory, chill in the outdoor garden guest kitchen or play with Biscuit and Moo, the owner’s lovely dogs. Most importantly the place is a great base for exploring the island and everywhere on the island is a relatively short drive away. Quinta Minuvida has a car park with ample parking for guests and you an easily come or go as you please. Rimi and João (the owners) are lovely and very accommodating and Luis (member of staff) is super-friendly and a fountain of knowledge regarding the island, what to see and how to get the best out of your trip. Breakfast is straightforward but everything you need to start the day. Many of the items served at breakfast are local produce and fruit and preserves directly from the garden. We personally loved the vibe Rimi and João are creating: relaxed, eco friendly, sustainable, caring and peaceful. A great place to really step back from the rat race, change pace and relax. The place has a rustic yet homely vibe. If you’re after a plush, 5 star hotel vibe this place won’t be for you. For anyone liking the sound of re description above though, I’d definitely recommend.
