Open the glass doors, and the Atlantic becomes part of the house. Nestled among banana terraces above Ribeira Brava, Villa Fjord combines a private infinity pool with spacious, Scandinavian-inspired interiors and sweeping views of the sea, valley, and mountains.

Facing south and bathed in afternoon light, the villa is perfect for days that flow seamlessly between indoors and outdoors. Breakfast begins in the open-plan kitchen, afternoons unfold by the water, and evening settles over the horizon. At certain times of the year, the sun sets directly ahead.

Natural wood and clean lines bring warmth to the open living and dining space, where the ceiling rises towards the upper floor. The glass doors slide open completely, connecting the house to the garden, outdoor dining area, and pool.

The villa accommodates four guests in two bedrooms. The master suite features a queen-size bed and views of the Atlantic, the valley, and the mountains. The second bedroom has two single beds. A dedicated office overlooking the sea, garden, and pool offers a peaceful setting for remote work or a quiet break.

Outside, the infinity pool is surrounded by natural lawn and banana trees, with space to dine, relax, and enjoy the open-air shower. Depending on the season and conditions, pool temperatures range from 20°C to 28°C.

High-speed Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a Smart TV, and private parking ensure a hassle-free stay. A cot and high chair are available, and private chef services, transfers, and additional cleaning can be arranged upon request.

Located near the coast and the centre of Ribeira Brava, Villa Fjord retains the slower rhythm of Madeira’s agricultural landscape, where the gentle sounds of nature complement the view.

4. Quiet Hours
Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, out of respect for the surrounding environment.

5. Check-In & Check-Out
Please respect the scheduled check-in and check-out times to help ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience. Check-ins are accepted until 10:00 PM. For arrivals after this time, a €32 surcharge for nighttime coordination applies. This can be paid via the online check-in form or, if not completed in advance, upon arrival.

6. Area Consideration
Please be mindful of the local community throughout your stay.

7. Furnishings and Amenities
All furnishings and amenities are provided for your enjoyment throughout your stay. Please ensure that no items are removed from the property.

8. Additional Guests or Visitors
Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the premises.

9. Insects & Wildlife
This property is located on Madeira Island, known for its lush nature and subtropical climate. Depending on the season, you may occasionally see insects or small wildlife. While regular pest control is in place, a completely insect-free environment cannot be guaranteed. We recommend keeping windows closed, storing food securely, and disposing of waste properly to help ensure a comfortable stay.

10. Tourist Tax
As required by local regulations, a tourist tax of €2 per person per night (up to 7 nights, for guests aged 13 and older) will be collected during check-in via the registration form. This fee is remitted directly to the municipality.
